My thoughts on '09- "It was a fun game after the patches as long as you played the computer or trustworthy humans and didn't abuse your own 99s", but to place it anywhere near a FIFA 09, NHL 09, or MLB The Show in terms of quality is absolute nonsense.
Yes, I had fun with the game. That does not mean I want it to continue down it's current path. I want a sim college football game, period. Being a college fan, I want NCAA to be my number 1, with Madden being my occassional break, not the other way around, which will clearly be the case this year.
All I am saying is stop knocking NCAA 10, talking about how it is just like 09. NCAA 09 was the best sports videogame out last year.
NHL 09, FIFA 09, MLB The Show 09, all GOATs in their respective sports. Are you saying NCAA 09 is the greatest football game ever made? I've got a box here with Terrell Owens in a green jersey that says otherwise.
Not just my opinion but backed up through a lot of forums on the web.
No, just your opinion. I remember the OS boards when NCAA 09 came out, and it wasn't pretty.
And as the old cliché goes if it is not broke don't fix it. So why should NCAA start from scratch with a game that was well received? Why risk doing more damage than good? Why not just fix all the bugs and repackage it with a few new modes and a create a team? I still think NCAA 10 will be a top sports game of the year and is a great foundation to something great in the future. Not to mention I believe EA told NCAA to tone it down and not out do Madden for a second year.
You believe that? Are you serious?
Look, whether NCAA 09 was better than Madden 09 or vica virca is debatable... I did prefer NCAA, but I've heard good arguments to the contrary. Either way, you honestly think EA told the NCAA team to suck on purpose?
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha. Your funny.
Yes, his funny indeed.
You know what you just made my work day that much better. I am going to save this conversation for tomorrow because I know I am going to need more of this to get thought my day. Handicapped kids? Some of them but most of the guys in my OD I have much respect for because they are great gamers. But these "handicapped kids" could not user catch the pass because I user picked dat ass (yea I got some skills). Nobody threw over 80% in my OD, it is called adjusting the sliders. But yea I am going to go ahead and get back to work, I will be happy to continue this tomorrow.
Adjusting sliders did nothing to stop a 99 speed CB that someone decided to play at WR. Even with THA at the bottom, all you had to do was get the ball deep enough and the 99 speed MFer was gonna get there before anyone else. And that doesn't take any skill.
Not to mention the ability to, quite literally, run circles around the defense because pursuit angles were that bad.
