Knicks eye Miller for one season
The New York Knicks are preparing to offer point guard Andre Miller(notes) a one-year contract for the $5.8 million mid-level exception, the New York Post reported.
Miller played for Philadelphia last season, but the Sixers don't want to invest heavily in a 34-year-old point guard. The Sixers have discussed sign-and-trade options for Miller with other teams, but the Knicks aren't one of them, the Post reported.
The Knicks are willing to offer only a one-year contract because they want to preserve as much salary-cap space as possible for the 2010 free-agent class.

Surprise Surprise, the Knicks offering another 1 year deal to a veteran.
I wonder where Miller will end up though, he is 34 years old but still putting up solid numbers. 16PPG, 4.5RBP, 6.5APG.
