Last few games (tracker, non-tracker, randoms alike) have been flats or nothing. It's a fucking joke. So much of a joke I'm considering trading this in for that garbage ass NCAA.

yep, I agree. This game is really getting boring now. Flats and add in the lack of button response and this game is becoming toilet water to me.

I have no problem guarding the flats. Pick a defense to guard that. Or use your LB and shadow the RB's.

1) a defense like cover 2 doesn't do sh!t. the CB either 1) drops back too far or 2) comes in too far.
2) I usually cover with the LB but like i said, button response sucks and even if I'm in perfect position to int the ball, it goes right by my guys head. I'm force to just let the guy catch the ball and try to make the tackle. Thats BS.

3) If I prefer to play with a safety, I expect my other CPU AI teammates to do their jobs correctly. if you are suppose to cover the flat, cover it correctly.

At the end of the day, it's been proven that the flats coverage is broken

I agree with the flats part, there are a lot of people on here that play the exact same way, they are all carbon copies of each other.

What really pisses me off is when they send the RB and the FB to opposite sides of the field, so you have to hope that the AI covers one for you

Anyone ever verified why this is in next gen games? I've been complaining about this for for 3 years and 75% of people out there say I'm crazy. If they just improved this the game would be so much better.

It was actually pretty good when the speed was on normal. I got more than a few user picks. Every since they changed it to slow, anything less than 20 yards, i haven't been able to pick off even if im in perfect position. last year was also bad. it was the main reason why i stopped playing, and the main reason i'm on the verge of doing the same this year

so i got my as kicked in TGT... again. this time OOBL didnt think that a 34-0 lead going into the half was good emoygh so he took a time out with 1 second left inteh half to kick a field goal. left his starters in and just beat me to death to the tune of 54-0. i think i threw 300 int's. i need to learn this shit peopel do, like running away from peopl at a downward angle to take advantage of teh bad tackling AI and holding strafe and playing center field and just picking off every pass that gets throw.

Someone mentioned button response.....wasn't this the exact same thing that happened in '09 and then patch #1 rectified it? Right now, you press X and the QB will just set there for a second and then move. On some [very few] he actually will move when you press X.

Also, what the fck good is pump fake when you can't do it even in control of the QB until the CPU says so. Again, on some plays [found one so far] you can actually fake a quick pass at the LOS.

If this was done in 4th qtr or something then yeah u have some beef but not 1st half get real u fuckin crybaby.

I don't know what it is but I have like no problem with people throwing in the flats. If they catch it usually they only get 3-4 yards.

I agree with you on this one. No lead is safe especially at the half. I would of did the same thing. Now if this was the 4th and he had that kind of lead that would be a problem.

That was my point....this game started off SOOOO slow I mean...steelers D vs Bengals Offense, not a solid matchup.... If this asshole didnt allow me to get FOUR consecutive defensive TD's in between the 2:30 second and 30 second mark of the first half then we wouldn't have this problem. I intercepted him for the i think the 5th straight PLAY not possesion lol and returned it in FG range...If the game swung that easily, I was tacking on a FG cuz if I play bad it can go the other way ya know.

Yea I agree. In the first half, you take all the points you can get. Then you go into cruise control in the 2nd half

I think it's tacky too, but like other guys pointed out ... they've seen bigger leads evaporate in a half of football.

That said, if I'm up 37-0 at the half and see my opponent is still struggling in the second half, I go into cruise control and do everything in my power not to make the score much worse (unless I'm playing Izzy - he wants you too).
