i have two questions guys
1. do you have the option to turn on spring training and play it your first year when you start a franchise?
Spring Training is always on. You have the option to skip it and go right to the start of the regular season. You also have full 40 man rosters for spring training
2. i know the prospects themselves are random, but are they changed or switched every time you do a new franchise?
no, they are the same unless you use a roster someone edited

How do you steal early?I hold L2 and push analog forward and it steals me late!Only way i figured to steal early is hold L2 and push direction pad up, but everytime i do this my guy decides to stop.WTF!!!!!!
this doesnt apply to RTTS running.
L1 to lead, R1 to return.
L2 to steal, R2 to return
with multiple runners on base:
LS to highlight the baserunner PLUS what i posted above.
To steal on movement, I believe it L2 plus the button of the base you want to steal. As soon as u hit the button of the base, the guy will take off
RTTS is different
To Steal:
LS forward to make him run. As soon as u hit LS forward he goes and you must hold it forward or he will stop. LS back makes him return.
While still at original base
L1 to lead - Hold L1 to LEAN towards the base u want to steal
R1 to return lead - LS held back to LEAN back to base
Then how do you advance to the next base?
A few ways to do this. In RTTS you simply move the stick forward and back to advance/return your guy
In non RTTS:
LS to highlight the runner and push the button of the base you want him to advance too. Example: Base hit, you want you guy to goto 2nd. Highlight the runner and push Triangle or just hold L2 as he is rounding first
L2 advance ALL
R2 return ALL
with multi runners on base you want to use the LS to highlight and the button to advance
Example: runner on 2nd - Base hit and you want the guy from 2nd to go home, but you want the batter to stop at first. Just LS to highlight the runner on 2nd and hit X to send him home.
Also, with the plate coverage indicator,do you have to have that where the ball is going to hit it or can you just move the analog to the left or right like in MVP?
Not like MVP, you must move the the stick in the area where the pitch is located in the zone. the show is better with this system then other cursor games, its more forgiving and the PCI is much larger and thus works very well once you get the hang of it.
Use the RS to influance fly balls, grounders, hits to RF and LF
Any word on a patch for a fix for the lineup glitch?
nope, but knight at OS has made adjustments to the ratings of players to preserve the correct lineups without hurting the integrity of the stats. Many, including myself have tested his test roster and it works great.
You just have to wait until opening day timeframe to get his completed version
