I don't recall, did you play 2k12 Warner?

I only ask because there wasn't a ton new added in 2k13, but more refinements and in my mind just an all-around better game that I haven't stopped playing since I got it. I could only imagine the jump from someone who last played 2k11 or 2k10.

Damn, now I'm getting all that freezing garbage.

Try to play an exhibition and the commentary stops after a couple minutes. Last time I tried, the CPU wouldn't inbound the ball and there was no whistle from the refs, it froze.

Deleted all my settings and gamesaves and nothing.

Fuck.

EDIT......did it again, deleted all my saves, signed on PSN and this time it worked fine, hmm....

I get it every year.

Like I said earlier in the thread, this is the best out of the box sports game I have ever played. I haven't touched a single slider or setting and i've gotten realistic results from the minute I took off the shrink wrap.

It's hard to put a finger on it. I feel like I earn everything I do, and I feel like i'm at fault for everything I do wrong. I never feel cheated. Take a bad shot, you miss. Run a good play and take a good shot, it goes in. Don't box out, get cleaned up on the boards. Leave tired players in, watch them get beat. Everything is balanced and perfect.

I was worried about the attribute icons at first, fearing they would be overpowered or arcade like, but that is not the case at all. Perfectly implemented.

And the little things. Play the Heat and LBJ brings the ball up half the time. The CPU rotations make sense. Teams attack you the way they should. I played Houston and went iso on Lin all game long and killed him with Jack & Curry.

This is a game that respects sim players and doesn't cater to casuals or button mashers. Can't get enough.

2k11 was the best. I was a big My Crew player and loved that. They don't have that this year but hopefully it returns next year. Blacktop is ok but playing online with the historic teams are what got me this year.

So many different rosters on OS. No idea on which to use. It will take like a day to read through threads and figure it out.

I love this game. Ive never been a big offline player but im having a blast in association.

CPU AI is smart and this game is hands down the best b-ball game ever made.

I thought nothing could surpass 2K 11 but I was wrong this game edges 2k 11 just barely.

I haven't even't tweaked sliders yet and still love this game believe it or not OUT OF THE BOX ON PRO LEVEL.

I have tweaked a few sliders and play on pro level too.

Like W2BTD said - pro level is great this year ... because you can finally win games without having to call offensive plays every play. You can just wing it, look for an open man, and just have fun. And the stats are pretty good.

Previous NBA2ks ... you had to call a proper set every play. I can buy that on higher levels, but not on pro level.

I admit it - I am not a great NBA2k player. I just wanna have fun and have a game where league averages are close enough. This year, NBA2k13 nailed that on pro level.

What plays are as close to the motion/read react offense as I can get? Orlando runs that in real life but when playing the game, the players stand around a little too much for my liking.

I can not beat the Suns in association. Gortat and all those slashers and shooters are unstoppable for some reason. Im 14-5 with 3 losses coming to PHX.

My Career Player is with the Bucks and we went 1-3 against the Bulls. Noah is killing me (my guy is a 7ft Center) with his offensive rebounds and put backs. I'm in the 2nd round of the playoffs and was able to win game 1 on the road against #1 Bulls, but lost the next 3. Luckily, I was able to win the next 2 and have game 7 next to play. After game 4, I bought the scrapper signature skill which has helped a little with getting rebounds from Noah. The one thing I can't understand is some of the subs that the game makes for my player; he's been put in the SF position. The worst was this past game, I was moved to PF and the Bulls put Robinson (Nate Robinson) as my opposition.....for just 2 plays and then they took him out and put Boozer.

edit: I ended up losing to them in Chicago. The Lakers beat the Bulls in the final 4-3 (after being down 3-2). The game simmed the offseason, so I didn't even get to see who left and who retired. There is no menu option that lets you see moves made during the offseason. I read some of the headlines but it doesn't look that it has all the transactions. I wish if you are the top guy in your team that the GM would ask for you opinion on certain guys to go after in FA or trades before the season started. Delfino is out there and would like to have him since Dunleavy (3 point shooter) seemed to have left the Bucks (no idea what team he went to or if he retired).

There is a fantasy draft league (teams already drafted) and standard roster league through that link. Both leagues are looking for a couple new owners.
