Whoever used LSU is doo doo. Ryan Baker(#22), Mo. Claiborne(#17), and Rueben Randle(#2) are the impact players. #14(Tyrann Mathieu whose number is now #7) doesn't have dreads. Also noticed Michael Ford (#42) is starting at RB. I thought they would have Spencer Ware to start at RB

I think they are just using dreads to place on players and say "see he isn't the real #14," knowing the community will fix it with updated rosters.

Why would you tell someone in our community not to do the rosters? It'd be nice to not rely on OS for these things.

Also, who says they can't do it? Stay up for 48 hours straight and you can do anything.

It is FAR more than 48 hours... ask me and Lanteri, we have done them here in years past, and we both worked at a very similar pace with next to no sleep and still didn't get them out before OS. 48 Hours and you can NOT do anything, shit 98% of VSN can't get laid in 48 days let alone 48 hours.

I think it is more about 'what is the point'. If they want to, then ok go ahead. But reality is, OS is getting the game ahead of time, and will have the rosters done first day the game comes out. So with 2-3 rosters done by game break, is there a point to it really?

That was all I was saying, you got it, I wasn't trying to be a dick I was just saying it is a TON of work and people don't realize exactly how much work it is until they try. OS gets the game earlier than even I can and I usually have a 5-6 day early copy. I mean, if Bmore can swing a 9 day early copy and work around the clock with 2 other people and name players, switch positions, change out dreads, change numbers, name coaches etc in that time then more power to him.

Not possible, edit ONE team, your a VT fan right? that would be easy for you would it not? Still looking at around an hour to name a team you have a lot of information on... now do 120 teams and coaches.

I'll likely be sticking with the 4-2-5 again this year. So glad they ditched that worthless ass Bear formation.

4-2-5 = :fap: I remember bringing it out last year when nobody was using it to counter the option and spread at the same time. If you have the players to execute it's an awesome defensive book.

4-2-5 + show blitz last year was bullshit. EA does a bad job with the defenses aside from the 4-3. The 3-3-5/3-4/4-2-5 are all either under or overpowered.

Looks and feels like NCAA with a few minor changes.

You can def tell they upgraded the zone D just cause people fly in from everywhere swatting balls.

The new tackle button is weird, sometimes when you run into a guy it'll initiate a tackle, other times it wont and will make you press the button.

I'm already over the entrances and commentary is getting turned off when i get the game.

The retail is always so much better than the demo. Wonder if that will be the case this year

They are releasing a tuner set for the demo to make it play like the retail version.

I don't think the gap was that wide last year anyway.

Punt return blocking seems a lot better. Mack Brown is bald. I hope the 3d grass isn't in the demo because if it is I don't even notice it.

Starting my first game - Controlling Texas vs. Oregon on AA.

First Impressions:
- Opening looks nicer, but commentary feels as unnatural as ever.
- Definitely improved the entrance animation. Looks cool and very similar to real life.
- These dreads just suck. Not sure why they couldn't start with smaller ones.Small potatoes, though.
- Coverage is definitely improved. I got three coverage sacks on the first drive.
- Threw a bomb. Got it picked off.
- New collision system feels VERY natural. Having a tackle button is odd, but I'll adjust.
- Blocking on punt returns is greatly improved. Special teams exist now!
- The end-of-quarter highlights are a nice touch.
- AI Defense still does Engage Eight, leading to insta-TDs. Why is this play even in the game?
- Goal line feels more fun with the new momentum system. Actually "tough" yards.
- AI coverage is much improved. Passing windows are very tight against a good D.
- Some really great new pass-breakup animations. Much improved.
- I defeated Oregon, 14-7. Their O-line couldn't stop my pass rush.
- 3D grass was noticeable in post-game. Textures look better in-game, but barely.
- Post-game presentation is still as awkward and disjointed feeling as ever.

I just played my first demo game as Oregon and won 7-6 with last minute TD. Defence seems solid, and over what I saw from the last demo, a lot of new animations. I really hope at the end they allow you to download those snapshots of the game because I think they would be cool to have for franchises.

I think this is a buy for me. Though I have no idea what school to pick yet.
