Sony Promises 'Epic' Announcements, 'Can't Wait for E3'
Some "stuff still under wraps," Sony says.

n response to the news that the PlayStation 4 had the "largest console launch in history," Sony responded to fans, saying "epic" announcements are coming.

Guy Longworth, senior VP of PlayStation brand marketing, said that Sony is working on supplying the PS4 with games, and that the company has some "epic stuff still under wraps." Longworth said he "can't wait for E3 now," according to the PlayStation Blog.

"We're working on lots of exciting updates and features which we'll get to you as soon as we possibly can," Longworth writes.

Sony recently teased a new Uncharted title at the PlayStation 4 All Access event, and a series of Tweets from the trailer's voice actor shed a little more light on the project.

The PS4 was the top-selling console in November, although the Xbox One launched a week later, and outsold Sony on a per-week basis.

I gotta give the PS4 this. Today I was playing Madden on the PS4 and a fuse blew. I lost power ... had to check the fuse box.
Thought to myself "No chance the PS4 reboots to the exact spot where I was playing Madden." It did. Blew my mind. NBA2k14 doesn't seem so rejoin your game friendly, but Madden 25 ... right where I left off. Couldn't believe it.

Gifted you a bunch of stuff, wouldn't let me send anymore so I'm assuming there must be a daily limit or something, I'll try again tomorrow see if it lets me.

Was this online or vs the CPU?
 
I would imagine vs the cpu. If you turned your console off it would immediately disconnect from the session.

Dave had me confused with the NBA 2k14 doesn't rejoin the game friendly. As if playing a friendly online. Would be nice to give a 60 second window for that.
 
Sony investigating PlayStation Mobile Vita TV support

Sony is believed to be casting early lures to PlayStation Network developers while it weighs up the possibility of bringing PlayStation Mobile to Vita TV.

PSNStores got hold of an email allegedly sent from Sony to PlayStation Mobile developers, gauging interest in the device.

The letter outlines the various drawbacks of the proposal, since the Vita TV doesn’t have a camera, motion controls, or location services, and only limited touch capacities.

The Vita TV does not currently support the platform; PlayStation Mobile is only available on PlayStation Certified devices – Vita and selected Android devices – although PlayStation Mobile games are also playable on PS3.

What makes this particularly interesting is that the letter is presumably addressed to a western developer, suggesting Sony may be warming up to the idea of bringing the intriguing little device west, something it initially didn’t plan on but hasn’t ruled out thanks to unexpected interest.
