I've only been close once, but Chuck broke out. I thought I had him since his energy was low as hell but I guess not.

i was purposely knocking chuck to the ground and letting him get back up to weaken him and i still couldnt get the submission.

I think Saluki said he landed one yesterday. not sure

I finally got an armbar got liddell down in the 2nd and pounced got into position and commenced with the attempt i think the better the position the better your results i was on the side of liddell and kept him on the ground for a bit kneeing him then used the analog stick to complete the takedown

this game is awesome!

I lock um in all the time, on the higher difficulties if you haven't worn chuck down tho he'll escape, thats my fav way to win now tho.

I cant wait to get the demo on Thursday! I hear its a good game! U guys get a small edge getting it early lol

all i will do when i get the demo is master the controls then wen the real game comes out, should be good enuff to take on ppl online

i think thats what we all hope to do ha

I doubt you'll master the controls through the demo just because they are so deep it'll take a while to master every aspect.

That's what i thought too, but it depends on the fighter, if you Liddel then striking is the best and u can try to brawl. But if your Rua on a difficulty higher than beginner, and try to brawl with Liddel he'll knock your ass out quick. Defense is huge, and more recently I've been playing with Rua working on clinching, takedowns and positioning. What's most important changes depending who which fighter you have

Last match i played i missed a kick as Rua, and Liddel stepped up under and SMASHED me, KO 30 secs into the match, then this one i just finished I used alot of clinching and Muy Tai in the 1st round and wore him down, then in the 2nd round i came out and he missed a spinning backfist and i jump kneed him right under his chin for a KO 9 sec in

lol dang so there is always gonna be a different kind of match each time u play, huh?

Ya, like the one im in right now, the 1st part of the 1st round Liddel kept distance so he could land big blows and was putting together some good combos and knocked me down, about halfway through the round i managed to get in close and land a few combos and tie him up a few times getting in some good knees to the body, if i hadn't i prob woulda gotten knocked out

this makes the game better.

so u wont see the same old results again and again
