So our defense makes Peyton look like Eli at times, but our playcalling in the second half was atrocious, we abandoned the run and started to get afraid of the big play and let Peyton pick us apart underneath.

What boggles my mind is that when you play a team like the Broncos, with Manning behind center and all of the weapons they have, big plays are going to happen. If you accept that and refuse to give up the underneath garbage yards, you stand a much better chance. As soon as we got the 14 point lead, I knew Haslett would back off and we'd lose the lead, and we did not disappoint.

Very lucky to win, but the offense is starting to perform better. I hate that we go into prevent so early. We've got to continue to be aggressive even with the lead. We don't have the personnel to play prevent and play even average.

In other Redskins, related news, justice was finally served in the Sean Taylor murder.

Wasn't Garcon the 3rd down play and he dropped the pass just like Reed?

Rg3 can't do everything, we need a redzone WR. Something this team has lacked for more than a decade.

Garcon has hands but we don't have the tall red zone target in the NFL. Garcon is not the tallest at 5'11, but he has the frame of a tight end and is extremely physical. But we can't throw a jump ball to the end zone. Hankerson is tall, but doesn't have the hands. They are trying to make that Reed, but the playcalling down there to end the game was questionable. For us to utilize Garcon that close to the goal line, you've got to get him into space on a screen.

What really bothers me is that whenever we get a two possession lead, the team turtles. The defense seems to go into prevent, and the offense utterly stops and struggles to produce yards, much less one first down. I don't know if it's the players getting complacent, the playcalling, or what, but that needs to stop because that was a winnable game yesterday and we blew it.

Washington wasn't good for the first 3 quarters. RGIII had a big fumble in the redzone when he got blind sided. Philly went up 24-0 and it was just too much to overcome.

RGIII did actually take off more and protected himself by getting out of bounds, which is a good sign for you guys.

Offensive RG3-Themed License Plate Prompts Virginia DMV Investigation
A Virginia driver noticed an interesting Robert Griffin III-themed license plate and alerted the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles through Twitter.

As you can see, they're taking the risque combination of letters and numbers rather seriously.


Looks like the perpetrator is a Dallas Cowboys fan. Hmm.

UPDATE: One of Bleacher Report's Twitter followers has let us know that this car has been roaming the streets for some time. Apparently the Cowboys fan acted quickly when the Redskins drafted RGIII with the No. 2 overall pick in 2012.

The more I think about it, the more I think Shanahan doesn't make it to next season right now. Our defense is suffering from a piss-poor secondary, and the offense can church out yards and points- after RGIII made it through the bye- but still does it inefficiently.

Knowing that RGIII would have rust, and that we were down a lot of cap space, I wouldn't agree with axing Shanahan and the staff, but I definitely think it's a real possibility if it seems that these two can't co-exist.

Now Santana Moss is calling out RGIII for wanting him to show accountability. This is now a FUBAR situation, and it really isn't going to surprise me if Shanahan is canned after this season.

its not RGIII, its not Shanny, and for most part - its not the offense.

our defense just sucks. we had no cap space to pick anybody up in the off-season. matter of speaking we had to reconstruct many contracts to keep guys on the team.
Moss being one of them.

we could easily be 7-3 instead of 3-7, if we had a defense that can get off the field.
Det, Denv, Vikings and Dallas kinda stick out the most and the last Eagle game was kinda
