I have no clue one way or the other on that. But I'm sure you're right. I do know there have been several xmas' where Live has been down for "strain on their servers" as well. That one year it was down for several days and they apologized by giving us that shitty game Undertow. Hooray!

There has been a surprising rage-spike lately. You'd think everyone would be happy with the conquering of DRM (...for now).

I could go either way on DRM honestly. I rarely if ever buy used games and if I do it's from Gamefly, not Gamestop. If they would've kept it and also had that 'too good to be true' family circle model this console would've been fine by me.

These consoles are basically mirrors of each other. XB1 has cloud computing while PS4 has the better hardware. XB1 is $100 more, comes with Kinect and has more entertainment choices.

Light years? How so? I have both and the differences, while there, don't make me use Ps3 for Netflix everytime. Maybe I'm missing something. Agree with you on the mandatory gold membership though.
