I don't believe they have stated what their plans are with 4K.
They will more than likely just upscale. I know the goal is to get everything running in 1080p at 60 fps. Just don't see them being able to achieve 60 fps with games running in true 4K. Not to mention 4k anything will take up a huge amount of disc space, Blu Ray and Hard Drive.

Why are there people who are only buying PS4 still nosing around in here, or the pro Sony club criticizing every news article? This console isn't going to fail, and I have no clue why you'd want it to. Nobody over the age of 12 is playing a Wii U, and if you are and are in this thread please identify yourself so if I ever get you for secret santa I can send you a balloon animal and save about $30. If you are a sony homer and are constantly coming back in this thread, why do you want the XB1 to fail? Are you upset about how MS throws money at companies to get perks like early DLC? I just don't get it, both companies are in it for the money, that's how they continue to grow and get better. MS has been a juggernaut for a long god damn time, and are getting bigger, so either join the club or enjoy what Sony is doing on their end. Both consoles look like they will do everything you want them too. If MS wants to include the kinect then so be it, I'm all for it. Like it or not people are buying those cheesy dance games and I think it will come in handy for anyone that skypes.

My thoughts exactly. Why would anyone want this things to fail unless you're full on retard? All of my criticisms have been about two things. MS's complete ineptitude to relay accurate information to the consumer and people like Primetime taking SOME of the information they release and running with it like it's the New New Testament, which makes ZERO sense considering all the misinformation and contradictions coming out of their own camp. From the initial announcement of the PS4 Sony has been very calculated with all of their information and press releases. I don't remember them being contradictory or flip-flopping once on any of the information they've released. That doesn't mean that I still can't try to read between the lines of some of it, especially regarding the used games shit. But at least they've been consisting and forthcoming with information. That's the number one reason why that thread is so boring and this one is such a shit show, because MS themselves made it a shit show. You can't blame gamers, from this site or anywhere else, for turning this thing into a circus. MS did a pretty amazing job of that and we just took the baton and kept running.

That's what I was thinking when they said they were reversing policies. They had been saying how Xbox One was going to be always on (or check every 24hrs) and now it doesn't need to do it. Nelson might just be a figure head but most people look to him to be the voicebox of MS and whatever he says must be coming from up above, so why would he give false information. I don't mind if the Xbox needs to be online but they need to do a better job at relaying this info to the public. Tell us why its important; not how we are "backwards", or "still can use the 360", if we don't have the internet capabilities to do so.

I'd be interested to see if it's the top selling console overall or just the top selling bundle since PS4 has three separate bundles in Amazon's top 10.
From how I read it, it doesn't sound like XB1 has more preorders so far, just that it has the current lead per day/hour. I don't think it includes the last 2 weeks of preorders, just maybe the last couple days.
