Ohio State President says BSU and TCU don't deserve title shot

did he forget the last 4 years? Ohio State lost major bowl games

Last 5 years (Including so far in 2010):
54-9 (.857)
35-4 B10 (.897)
16-7 v Top 25 (.696)
4 Consecutive B10 Titles (With a chance for a 5th with a win over Michigan this weekend)
The 2009 Ohio State Buckeyes are the only team in NCAA History to defeat 5 teams that had at least 10 or more wins on the year (Navy, Wisconsin, Penn State, Iowa, Oregon).

Yeah, we lost 3 consecutive high profile bowl games, but I would love to compare our numbers here to virtually any other school in the country and see how they stack up.

I don't agree with it (I'm actually rooting for Boise or TCU to get to the championship game), but is anyone surprised that a BCS school president is saying this? Almost any other BCS school president would agree and every non-BCS school would disagree. It has nothing to do with the actual truth of it, it has everything to do with trying to keep the money in with a certain group.

As for the real truth of it, I disagree. If anyone truly thinks Oregon is the best team in the country, they are sorely mistaken. Oregon had trouble with Cal, the #1 defense in the Pac-10. The same Cal team who allowed Nevada to put up 50+ on them. Auburn has shown little to no defense all year and their OOC schedule has been Chattanooga, Clemson, Arkansas State, and Louisiana Monroe. A 4 team playoff of the top conference champions would do a lot and still put priority on the regular season. Any of you thinking we should have an 8+ team playoff should go back to playing Candy Land.
