It's a good idea, but yeah I think it's going to be executed poorly. There's nothing wrong with trying to put these guys into context. Both did some good things for sure, before they got hungry with power and took everything too far (that's not debatable).

Not much good. Most of it was in modernizing weaponary, but even that was a direct result of their maniacal intentions.

There's not one shred of evidence, forensic or otherwise that suggests anything but a lone gunman in the JFK assassination.

Every single conspiracy theory out there has been debunked and disproved. Do yourselves a favor and read a book or watch the History Channel and Discovery Channel specials on it.

I don't doubt the lone gunman theory but I do believe that Oswald carried it out at the request of Sam Giancana and Carlos Marcello (via their associate, Jack Ruby) in retaliation for them giving Kennedy the union vote and what proved to be the presidency and then his administration turning around and going after organized crime.

The RFK theories revolve around 100 different witnesses arguing over which way RFK was facing when he was shot. Nort, South, East, West, SSW, NNW, Shaking this guys hand, shaking her hand...etc. In the end noone really knows which way he was facing/turning as he was shot.

2nd, one asshole "expert" "analyzed" the tapes and said he heard 13 shots fired. Sirhans gun only held 8 or so. Conspiracy nuts jumped all over this while ignoring the fact that an entire panel of experts immediately came out and refuted it and many more have to this day after analyzing the tapes.

3rd. People said they "recognized" CIA operatives at the hotel RFK was at. Too bad for them the ID's were off and the guy was just some business man there for some trade show.

No proof for this at all. Oswald was an egotistical loon who was obsessed with Communism as well as a violent man who was obsessed with being in the spotlight and needing attention. It makes no logical sense for Ruby to kill Kennedy, then be upset enough about it to kill Oswald while bringing his dog to the killing of Oswald.

Hitler would have likely killed as many or more if they had been in power as long as Stalin/Mao was and had the massive population that Stalin/Mao had to choose from in their purges.

There is also no proof that disproves this theory. Oswald might have been a head case but he was also an ex US Marine and had the kind of background that would make him the perfect accomplice to carry out the assassination.

As for Jack Ruby, he was a known associate of Sam Giancana of the Chicago mafia and the Campisi family of Dallas. The Campisi's were lieutenants of Carlos Marcello of New Orleans, who was very vocal about his desire to have Kennedy killed.

Interesting that the day before the assassination, Ruby spent the evening at the Campisi's restaurant in Dallas and they were first people he wanted to see after being arrested for killing Oswald.

There is tons of circumstantial evidence that you can add to the above facts but the following hypothesis is hard to disprove entirely....Ruby recruits Oswald at the request of two of the most powerful mobsters in the country, Oswald carries out the assassination and when he is caught and declares that he is "just a patsy", the mafia gets nervous of him ratting them out and dispatches Ruby to tie up that loose end since he recruited him.

I doubt that we will ever know the true story behind the Kennedy assassination outside of disproving the "grassy knoll" and CIA conspiracy loons.
