You could do a draft, but personally I think drafts are lame as shit.

I think it's better for guys to submit a couple teams they want to be so that more guys get the teams they want rather than it being entirely random.

Obviously everyone won't get who they want, but at least you'll most likely be able to end up with a team you don't mind using. Just find a way to determine between teams or whatever.

The one problem would be that if one person wanted a team, but three other people wanted the same team, the three who didn't get them might be stuck with a team that they would not want at all, because someone else already took their #2 choice, with their #1 choice. Do you get what I'm saying?

I feel like whether its a draft or people just figuring out the individual team conflicts themselves, its gonna be the same number of people with a team they might not like.

Oh and people call teams cause they see one person call a team and they're afraid someone else might call the team they want so then call a team, becoming e the person they were afraid of to someone else. lol

Well the thing about a franchise is that you mold them into the type of team you want. Honestly I'll take any team but i have ones I'd prefer to start out with (my list of top three above).

The thing about a franchise is I'd rather not leave things up to chance. No one wants to be in a multiple season franchise with a team they could give two shits about.

But that will happen as well with the three other people who aren't getting the Pats... At least with a draft you know what you're gonna get. If the Pats-ers duke it out, then the three who don't get them will have to wait for whats left after everyone else's first choice.

Well there's definite positives and negatives to both situations.

What if you end up with the last draft pick?

Meanwhile a guy who picked in the middle took someone else, but probably would have settled for the Bengals.

I just figure with my method you end up with more owners having teams they like, than with a draft where the bottom half could very well hate their teams.

Doesn't matter I guess. I don't care myself, just as long as it's a team i don't hate lol.

Have each player pick their top 3, accommodate as many as possible, for anyone teams where nobody is clearly getting the team, let 'em play for it.

never made sense to me when games would have chise modes that last like 100 years.
