Come on, man. He may not have been the terror he was, but he had more than a full season off. It wasn't like they were asking him to run the shuttle drill out there on a consistent basis.

It's laughable seeing Giants fans taking too much time blaming their defensive coordinator when it's plain to see this defense is simply not as good as the one that carried them to a Super Bowl. It's the exact same scheme.

Sheridan is just a scapegoat.

Difference being

-I didn't blame the scheme. The issues were focus and discipline, not to mention motivation. Too many penalties and screwups over and over. That's on coaching to fix. And until this year, Wade was letting someone else run the defense. Go figure than he took over it himself, it took a dramatic step up. Keith Brooking took care of the last part.

-Wade has won the division 2 out of 3 times.

-Garrett still has a bad habit of abandoning the run. He's gotten better, but I still worry about it. He's an excellent game planner and has a bright future, but he still has work to do.

Also, way to make it all about the Cowboys yet again. Tell me how my ass tastes, Rhude!

BTW did you see the articles in the NY Daily News agreeing with what I've said about that Super Bowl? I thought it was funny.

And you can't put words in my mouth on this one. I never once bashed Wade Phillips' scheme. I bashed his demeanor and attention to detail. Yeah, I wanted him fired, but it had nothing to do with his defense. It's an excellent scheme, one of the best in football at generating pressure.

Garrett's scheme is also the one that won us 3 Super Bowls. And I've said many times before it's a good one, I just don't agree with his playcalling.

I'm so glad the Eagles didn't get the 2 Seed and have to play dallas in the first round. Now one will knock the other out and then the other will have a hard time winning the bowl. An Eagles vs. Cowboys NFC championship game would be a fucking nightmare for me.
