Seems pretty honest and a few of the minor details that the hardcore Madden fan would appreciate hearing

He always happens to write on something in his review that no other "writers" touched on that seem really important, like the hitting the quarterback as he throws section

I’ve seen this out of premiere QBs like Peyton Manning, Matt Ryan, and Philip Rivers. Now the CPU is only throwing 1-3 INTs a game, but it is those UGLY ones that I remember and have a problem with.

The CPU run game is inconsistent at best. I’ve had little worry in shutting their run game down, though they do stick with it and continue to try. Up until my last two franchise games I don’t think I had played a single game where the CPU rushed for more than 60 yards.

Same old Madden bullshit. Glad I'm passing on it this year.

good read and pasta is a guy that relates to alot of sim gamers.

his impressions are another reason why i am not buyinng this game. I read all the comments he makes and compare it to what i have with ncaa 10 and madden just seems to fall short in more areas.

no sideline catches, no cpu run game, no progressive lighting, incomplete online franchise, cpu wtf int's, no coach challenges, clock doesnt stop when a player goes out of bounds, excessive holding calls on FG with the default slider, HB fumble as they dive over the goaline

alot of other comments he made make the game sound like it plays just like ncaa 10....like how its about strategy vs sticks skills. this is a great thing imo.

But everything i am read suggests that madden is an incomplete version of what ncaa does have on the field.

did you read my post? i listed a slew of things that pasta mentions being out of madden.

Ah I see. I guess, but this could also be credited to players having no hips in NCAA... turning on a dime without losing speed. This isn't the same in Madden.

EDIT: About the sideline catches. They are when he stops, catches it, and falls out of bounds. They were in NCAA and Madden 09, but they aren't in the 2010 games.

i am referring to both in ncaa. Anyone playing ncaa 10 knows the players are aware of the sidelines and dont allow their momentum to just carry them out of bounds.

i am also referring to the toe drag or players making sure they get 1 foot in bounds. Just last night the Wisc WR caught the ball in the back of the endzone. I did a coaches challenge cause i thought for sure he was out. But nope, he managed to drag 1 of his feet before going out and the play stood as a TD

Premier means best of the best. There are two... Brady and Manning. Rivers is not close to Brady or Manning.

Favre, Marino, Elway, Young, Aikman, Montana, Unitas... those were premier QBs of their time.
