Funny how Cowboys fans are more upset about the last TD the Vikings scored during garbage time then the first 4.

He doesn't have to justify it, but obviously that game 13 years ago stuck with him for a long time and obviously affected him greatly.

Favre remember the name of the team and the uniform. Doesn't matter who wears them or who coaches or owns them.

Favre didn't say it was justified, he just said something along the lines that they were just following their gameplan to play a complete game and it just worked that way. He then added, that he could understand how the Cowboys might have felt since he had actually been in a similar situation against the Cowboys when he was with the Packers.

Of course, if you speak fluent Favre what he was really saying is that turnabout is fair play and you didn't hear him bitching about it after that game. He just tucked it away until he had a chance to return the favor. I think ultra competitive athlete would have done the same thing.

Neither does the Drew Pearson push off against the Vikings on the original "Hail Mary" play back in '75 or the bitterness over the Hershel Walker trade but you can bet every Vikings fan has stewed on it for many many years. If anything, I think i twas more Vikings payback than Favre payback since he didn't call the play on the field, he just executed it to perfection.

Jimmy Johnson said the play didn't bother him at all and that the Cowboys had the option to make a play on defense and not allow the score.

I didn't see this coming whatsoever.
As for the last TD, if you don't want to see them score, stop em.
That said, if I were Minnesota's coach, I wouldn't have done it - totally unnecessary.
Then again, Brett Favre probably has more power than Childress.

Once Flo went down, the one on one matchups basically went in the shitter.

Free simply is not strong enough to stop someone like Allen. He needed help and it caused all the other matchups to suffer.

Columbo was terrible regardless. Worst he's played since Parcells salvaged him from the scrap heap in Chicago.

I have major worries about the line. I agree with Ron Jaworski. They're not a good pass blocking group and Romo masks their deficiencies. Great maulers and run blockers, but they're lacking in the "keep your QB off his ass" department.

Again, the Minnesota d-line wasn't doing much of anything when Flo was in the game. Once he went down with an injury, they were just too much. Free needed help against Allen and Edwards manhandled Columbo all game.
