My concern with Bradley is that don't ACL's usually take closer to two years to fully recover? If so he'll be back but I don't know if he'll be as good as he was, but he won't be any worse than Trotter. I really hope Sheldon is back, the draft should be pretty much ALL defense with maybe one OL taken

But we certainly need DE/LB help, and someone who can play alongside Mikell in the S spot. It will be very nice getting Stewart Bradley back so we dont have to watch Trotter stink it up anymore.

Congrats to the Cowboys, I hate you, but you completely dominated us 2 weeks in a row. We didnt even deserve to be on the same field with the types of performances we put up. Really disappointing to see the Eagles end the season like that.

Vick thinks he should start and I can't see the Eagles offering him that opportunity.

I think at this point another team would be willing to at least offer him a competition.

Haha, I had the same reaction when they showed Macho Harris heading towards the locker room. He is pure trash. Usually the Eagles are right when they let the older players leave, but they were dead wrong letting Dawkins walk.

I hope Bradley is ready to go for next season. Obviously he was a huge loss and getting him back healthy will be big for the D next season.

I guess my brother's an idiot then, lol. He was burning my ear off, "I'm sick of this shit! I want Reid & McNabb gone!!!" I'm like dude, Donovan's not great, but he's a very good QB. Who's going to replace him? Good-to-great QBs are hard to come by. It's not like the Eagles have an Aaron Rodgers-in-waiting.

Sure they do, Kolb played well in McNabb's absence this season and I'm sure he could fumble the ball to lose the game in the playoffs for the Eagles next year.

I don't get people wanting to start Kolb.

Kolb started 2 games. One was a blowout so his stats got padded in that game. The other was against a team who has one of the worst defenses in the NFL.

Kolb could very well be a solid QB but, this team has the talent offensively to win NOW. Their defense is what needs a lot of help. I guess you can say the offensive line too. But the Eagles have the play makers on offense to succeed.

Starting Kolb next year sets the Eagles back, IMO. It wouldn't be fair to Kolb to expect him to make, let alone win, a Super Bowl in his first full season. Isn't that our goal right now? By the time Kolb gets comfortable in the offense, who knows where this team will be in 2-3 years.

The problem with this team is NOT McNabb. They can win a Super Bowl with him. It's the fat fuck coach who's stubborn philosophy is a failure and who's constant trading down in the draft the last few years cost us valuable picks and helped Dallas build up their stout D-Line. Boy, I wish we had Anthony Spencer to help Trent Cole on the opposite end of the line or even play OLB. If you remember, we traded out of the first round that year to get Kolb and let Dallas take Spencer.

And those wanting Vick to start? Come on...seriously.

The things that need to happen for the Eagles to get back to being an elite team:

-Fix the defense. Sign proven players who can get the job done. Focus your draft on the defense. There are so many holes it's not even funny. Get back to being the nasty, aggressive D you once were. Not this soft as mashed potatoes shit we've seen this season.

-Fix the offensive line. Yes, injuries happen and if the Andrews brothers can come back next year that'll be a huge help. Sign a legit center because it's going to be tough for Jackson to be ready for next season, IMO.

-This will never happen but change your philosophy. Become more balanced. Dallas exposed the Eagles by taking away the big play and forcing us to methodically drive the ball down the field. Reid isn't patient enough to run this kind of offense, and it was easy to see why we got blown out. I'm sure teams will play the Eagles similarly next season and try to take away the big play.

You do those things and this team will be right in the thick of things next season.
