I usually root for the AFC team. As long as it's not Baltimore, or Pittsburgh. Indianapolis doesn't fall under that category so I'm pulling for the Colts.

The sentiment of all of the Saints fans I spoke to this weekend was that while they wanted to win the Superbowl above all (of course) that they hated it would come at the expense of their two favorite local NFL heroes. Favre has a lot of fans back home but the number of people that love Peyton in New Orleans is off of the chart, he is local royalty.

Same thing is true for Drew "Purdue" Brees. Most Colts fans in Indiana (unless they're hardcore IU or Notre Lame fans) love Brees.

im really excited that my team finally plays in the super bowl. i think if they both bring their A game it will be an incredibly close matchup. i honestly think the run game will decide this one.

Funny how all of that works out. The Saints fans I was tailgating were rooting hard for the Jets because they didn't want to feel bad about liking Manning so much when the Superbowl rolled around...not too mention, I think they feared facing him against their team a little more.

the saints play like they did against the vikings and they will get rolled.

However, I believe the Colts will probably win.

Peyton Manning is the reincarnation of Jesus. I found this out when he threw 2 int's and still scored a touchdown on the same drive against Baltimore.

Reports coming out that Freeney will play in the Superbowl but he will be nowhere near 100% . Let's just hope he is close to his best or we will struggle a bit on D

I don't know how Indy is gonna stop their offense. Baltimore and NYJ were easy because they both have terrible conservative offenses. I've seen Indy look like shit against passing teams like Houston and the Patriots. It'll end up coming down to what adjustments Coyer makes at halftime.

Indy should have a field day on their defense, soft as fuck. NO's D gets a ton of turnovers cause their offense puts so much pressure on teams it forces them to panic. Indy isn't gonna panic. Don Brown is gonna bust one of them too.

In some fairness we didn't even have Freeney in the second Houston game [where we struggled the most] and the D did a great job v the Pats in the second half . Hopefully they can take some of the stuff they used in the second half and use it from the start .

It will come down to who can stiffen up in the RZ and force 3s instead of tds

If it's anything like when Manning played Washington [when Williams was around] it will include plenty of late dirty cheap shots . I remember them taking Manning out late in the first qtr which led to Manning throwing for 3 tds and hardly missing a pass when he came back

Well I enjoy him hitting the QB as long as its legal, but I hope we do more than that with this defense. No way we win if manning does some crazy shit like those stats.
