This will be my last post (in this thread), since you guys clearly don't read my full post and make a decision based on a few words you read and put together and call that my post.

My argument is about the fine and suspension. Period! Watching the hit several times over, the cover man was a foot taller than the return man and had squatted down with what looked like an attempt to stop. He didn't and that makes him an ass, but he didn't go for his head and neck he hit as low as he possibly could have. So you can call my opinion a joke (I didn't know I was a comedian), but thankfully this is still a free country (until Obama makes us socialists) and I can have my opinion. Good day to all!

The man returning the punt isnt the one who has to stop, he gets to return/catch the ball before any contact with the punting team. Wesley's hit was clearly for the head/neck area.

It's one thing when a guy is crossing the middle at full speed and two players collide helmet to helmet, it's another when a guy is setting up for a punt return (basically standing still) and a gunner just launches his shoulder into the guy's throat. Not really. At least Wesley can put up a weak defense of "I thought the guy had the ball." Sapp's cheap shot on Clifton was about 50 yards behind the play and happened a moment before the defensive return guy crossed the goalline.

That Butler block was cheap as all get-out, I remember that discussion on the old MM. Also, the block that injured Glenn Dorsey two years ago. I can't remember who that was against though. When you just can't stop a guy and revert to trying to take him out of the game that way is probably the most pathetic thing in sports.

I stopped watching them because they are 0-6? No. I didn't see them get to 0-6. But hey, you know why I do things better than I do, because you're an internet blow-hard. Got it. We sucked in '04 and we were arguably the worst team in the league at the end of 2006. If I stopped watching them because they were bad, I would have never made it to this year.

I quit following the games this year because the owners don't give two shits about putting out a competitive football team, so why should I this season? Every year we fail to dip into our top 5 cap space to spend a dime but on secondary positions that don't make shit (Faine, K2), you've got blind fans making excuses for ownership that has clearly packed it in, and how many of our fans wrote off Caddy for the 3rd or 4th time last year and bashed the guy who works harder than both our lines put together. Byron Leftwich was our WORST QB heading into this season and he started? Why?Clayton's worthless and we extend him for a bloated contract to get to the cap floor. It's lazy and careless.

Maybe you aren't old enough, maybe you didn't follow football...I don't know, but, if you remember the Culverhouse years I don't know how you can even begin to harp on Sapp.

There is nothing noble about continuing to support a team whose owners have given up on the team. It doesn't make sense to bang your head against a wall just to prove a point that you are a bigger fan. Congrats you will continue to support a losing product based off of some unwritten social rule that says you should continue to support a product that has been purposely stripped of all of its features and functioning parts just so you can avoid being called "fairweather." If you want to continue to support the Glazers and line their pockets with merch and ticket revenue that is fine. But most of us went through this once and that was enough. The fans are speaking with their pockets by not going to the games. The Glazers are basically giving tix away so that they can say the game is a sell out...half the stadium is empty though. Until they sell the team or have a dramatic change in philosophy I won't support the Bucs either.

I haven't spent a dime on any new merch this year and I usually drop a pretty penny on all the official team issued stuff I can get my hands on.

That hit was as dirty and as cheap as it gets.

I've played killer on punt, you know when the guy is getting the ball or when he is about to get the ball. It is not hard to slow yourself down, breakdown, and make a good hit by timing the catch.

Wesley really didn't give a shit whether the returner had the ball or not, he was in the mood to lay some hat from the get go and nothing was going to stop him. Intentional and dangerous, doesn't get any dirtier/cheaper than that.
