This. Maybe I'm overreacting, though. Hue Jackson seemed to really improve the offense this year, and John Marshall's defense looked better than our defenses have, even if we came up short a lot of times...

I guess we'll see how it progresses.

To me it looked like Cable was restoring the Raider Culture and bringing the team is stability decision making wise. He also looked like he was motivating the shit out of the team on game days.

Raiders owner Al Davis was reportedly unhappy with Tom Cable for not playing rookie OG Bruce Campbell and Darren McFadden (turf toe) in the Week 17 finale.
Cable's specialty is offensive line, so it's hard to question his judgment on a project like Campbell being ready for his first game action. Despite the Raiders' 31-10 victory at Arrowhead Stadium, Davis was in a sour mood afterward. Asked if 8-8 was a good finish, he shot back, "If that’s the world you live in."
