Eh...I played a lot of games this year, and while I loved Skyrim, I still can't personally say that it was the best game of the year. In fact, I think that it won't even enjoy the same longevity as Morrowind (although I personally like it more than Morrowind). It was a great game for the time that it was out, but I think its overall impression on me was lacking after it was all said and done in comparison to other games.

Skyrim hands down im a level 31 and haven't really even started the main story. I walk around for hours just finding new random shit to do every second fucking love it

The two games that stood out for me were LA Noire (even tho I never finished it) and Battlefield 3 (even tho none of my friends play it).

I haven't bought Skyrim pretty much because I know I don't have the time to dedicate to a game like that. My cousin who was die hard into Oblivion was disappointed by Skyrim and barely even plays it.

Have not played Skyrim or Batman AC yet.... Shit I just started playing L.A. Noire. Really can't decide on a game of the year for me. Just too far behind with game backlog to be playing new release stuff.

If I actually finished games Id probably go with Dead Island or LA Noire but since I get games like that, play them for a couple of weeks and move back to Madden before I beat them, Ill have to say Madden 12 simply because thats what I play about %90 of the time.

BF3 for me, not into games like Skyrim but I could see it being GOTY based on how many people liked it.

For as much as a game nerd that I am I usually get tired of games long before they are over. I loved every second of Portal, Bastion, and Deus Ex and did not find them tedious for even a second.
