Biggest complaint? I hate grinding MUT challenges on Rookie difficulty!

Pros:

-The game looks good and is smooth online so far
-DBs react to the ball better. My first curl route cheese was jumped and picked with the quickness.
-Skills Trainer is actually pretty deep. I think everyone should play through this.
-The presentation is very well done. Love how it tells you team and player stats during the game at the top.
-Someone tried spamming the fake hike on me. My CPU Dlineman jumped on the guys first play on offense. After that he thought it would happen a lot and ended up getting some offsides calls. You can definitely catch dudes off guard though.
-I've played 2 games with Falcons and 1 with the Saints online. Ryan and Brees definitely have a different feel.

Cons:
-Not feeling the new playcall system. Someone times you'll end up spending too much time in there looking for a play.
-I've only had one "WTF" movement where Antonio Gates was on a curl route? And was in the middle of the field facing to the left when the ball was thrown behind up and a couple more yards up the field from him and he warped to it.
-I still hate how this game makes you drop the easiest User Picks. I mean the ones where my opponent throws right to me and I'm standing still.

That's it for now. Overall, I'm having fun. Defense has been a little tough thus far, kinda hard to stop folks.

-I felt the same way about the playcalling menu at first. Now I'm getting used to it. It was killing me on the defensive side of the ball for a while.

-That is annoying as hell. We have already reported that... Several of us have sent in video on it.

Can someone flip through the rosters and see how much time it looks like they spent on player models and player photos in game? I heard there were a lot of scans done for player models but I'm also curious about the player photos. Sick of seeing players rookie pictures 5 years later. Updating that shit would make the game a lot more immersive IMO.

Impressions on game play

Played my first game on all-madden, Seahawks @ Bears and man I got worked. I got the ball first and first play I wanted to go to Marshall on a curl and test Sherman right away and boy I paid for it- Pick by Sherman. Game feels real good better than madden 25 imo, some wonky animations but overall really good. I did notice a warp movement but it was when the cpu was playing defense. I lofted one to Forte over the LB head, I caught it but when I watched the replay the defender was ways away and then he all of a sudden warped closer to the ball when got closer to Forte. I only played 5 min quarters and didn't touch the sliders.

Not one penalty was called all game which is disappointing, pretty sure penalties are the same as other yrs, broken or don't work like they should.

Wilson was 6-6 , one pass was high but Harvin made a cool looking adjustment on the sideline which looked awesome.

Lynch tore me a new one

I didn't even bother learning the new defense controls since I will be buying it on the ps4 Tuesday. I'm just going to use my time in play now until the game comes out. Anyone that says its just like last years is in denial, you can tell they put some work in on this one. Presentation I thought was pretty cool ,made it feel more realistic, all we need now is a sports ticker.

I have been negative on madden in the past and justifiably so, but I really like this one so far. Can't wait to play it on the PS4!!!!! :banderas:

Yeah i agree. Did they take out individual player plays? Like If I want all Brandon Marshall plays or forte plays. Why would they take that out?

They can no longer use disc size as an excuse, since the entire game is installed to your console anyway.

They will always find one, one yr it was not enough memory or something like that on last gen, this yr it was short dev cycle. Next yr who knows what they will say. If I had a dollar for every excuse I would be :rc56:

Wow, I can see that being legit then. They honestly did a hell of a job with gameplay imo.

Just got 2 more games in. All-madden with 5 Min quarters and lost both games.

Second game 2nd half I tweaked a couple sliders(Raiders @ Steelers Me). I wasn't seeing any cpu computer bad passes at all. It seems qb sliders are broken again, put mine and cpu down to 2 and wr catching to 45 and that seemed to show me more incomplete passes.

One thing that stood out, played three games and not one penalty on the cpu on default penalty sliders. Will have to tweak them once i have the actual game.

I also wonder if sliders have a different affect again in Connected Franchise than play now. I might have to buy another trial.

If they can figure out how to fix sim stats,crazy trades ,and free agency this game will be the best yet.

The Madden team normally begins work on the following years game a couple of weeks after the game goes gold each July. Last year, they worked on PS4 and XBox One versions on top of PS3 and Xbox 360 and that took them into late September/early October before they could fully focus on Madden 15. That really condensed a lot of timelines internally and made for a lot of long days this cycle.
