I beat The Witcher 2 today. Really enjoyed it overall although I'm pretty disappointed how absurdly easy it was on normal difficulty, especially towards the end.

I heard that it can get really easy once you hit a certain level. I guess I'll start on Hard once I finally get around to this one.

I still need to finish the first Witcher. I finished the second chapter, but I got a little bored with the large amount of exposition at the beginning of the third chapter. It's been a fun game otherwise.

At this rate, it won't be until Borderlands 2 releases. Maybe sooner if Twigg, Jay, and myself can get through the Mad Moxxi and Claptrap DLC for Borderlands.

Yeah I'd definitely recommend starting on hard, or at least playing everything after chapter 1 on hard. After thinking about it a little bit I am a little disappointed with the game overall, I think mainly just because I felt it had potential to be a real classic and just didn't hit the mark with several things. The combat system, graphics for a console game, voice acting, and the depth of the lore and stuff are all outstanding. After really loving the story for about 2/3 of the game everything wraps up feeling like the end of a TV season or something, which I really don't like in a game. The economy is kinda jacked and unbalanced. After the first area was amazingly well done and extremely rich and fun too explore they got subsequently worse overall, and the last one is a fucking nightmare to try to traverse.

Despite all that shit it's still a lot of fun and worth playing.

Please note: Pad and I run through shit quicker than STRIKE Team and [FOOT] Clan combined.

Also, it was easier as a 2-man job seeing as if 1-2 more people don't kite Crawmerax and his slug friends, everybody dies.

You gotta cheese the damn encounter but the rewards are worth it... IF you're high level.

There was SO MANY guns that were like 20 levels higher than either me or Pad and ALL of them were awesomesauce.

Also, when I sold one, I maxed out on money instantly.
