Wish I could upload a replay but I'm too scared to get online with this xbox... Had a great example of route based passing in a game... QB threw the ball and the receiver made a plant to the outside then cut inside on the skinny post for a TD.. ball was out a full 3 steps before the plant...

Pretty uneventful game here from what I can tell in the box scores. There was both a kick return (Bengals only TD) and a punt return for TD. Otherwise both teams played like ass. Think: Seahawks vs Steelers in that Super Bowl..

It seems the stats are pretty consistently good. It leaves some openings for monster seasons from one or two players without everybody going off for 5000 yards passing and 40+ TDS or a ton of 2000 yard rushers in the same year. I'm liking it.

I'll say after playing the demo a couple times, on some different levels.

I prefer All Madden this year.

And my one question to everyone was do you have more control over the runner, and you really do. I think user control will be up this year, lots of route jumping and shit like that on defense... SWATs and shit... More swats will need to be used than goin for the picks, because if you go for the INT and not in position you'll get burnt

Running is nice this year. The locomotion makes it feel a little better, leaning and stayin low through the hole and stuff like that is all an upgrade to me

The GameFlow thing can stay or go in my book. It's really NFL Head Coach feely and sometimes the coaches don't rachet it back soon enough. Like in certain situations and certain games I may play more conservative just dependin on the opponent, not so much the gameplan... so idk

The D-Pad for audibles is gonna take some time, but once you get it down, you're gonna be flippin through audibles/adjustments a lot quicker i think.

And finally. I like the new kicking meter, bad kickers can't kick as well as good kickers, so that bar better move like Shaq shootin a free throw for bad kickers lol

dont like the kicking meter but thats cause i cant do it accurately yet

dont mind the DPad - just a matter of getting used to.....i am sure in time, gamers will be flying thru that.........
and to compare this feature to the "Flashlight" is just wrong.......nothing will ever surpass that awful mistake........

still dont like the "Fight For Fumble Lameness".......feels like i am playing Drakes Fortune or Devil May Cry - trying to deal with obstacles/foes

I hope it isn't either but I went back and checked the timestamp on the retail version of Madden '10 and it was only 6 days later in the month than copy of Madden '11 that was uploaded.
