If you go up to them and hit Y you get into a QTE where you can turn it off.

But I thought they go off when you get close? Or do they only watch one particular direction?

But what's weird is even as their going off... if you do that event, they'll stop and suddenly nobody will care about you anymore.

The controls definitely leave much to be desired. I can't tell you how frustrating it is trying to reach a blue orb at the top of a spire on a really tall building. Right when I get near it he'll start sliding down and when I try to recover he ends up back flipping far away from the building.

And then there is just simply trying to grab someone and consume them. Within the last ten minutes I have killed THREE Web of Intrigue targets trying to grab and consume them in the midst of a fire fight.

I don't know how anyone could say this was a 6-8 hour game. According to the in-game clock I'm ten hours in and I'm only a third of the way through the story missions.

Some of the side 'events' are a fucking bitch though. Those events where you have to drive a tank/APC and kill as many enemies as possible in a certain time limit are fucking ridiculous. I just played one about fiftty times before getting a bronze medal.

Another thing that pissed me off was that they just pulled the classic video shitty videogame move of taking all of my powers away from me.

Yeah I'm still not happy about that. I was just getting my jollies with using the heavily upgraded claw power of mine.

I must disagree about the tank version in the middle of the map though. I managed to get all 250ish kills on my first pass....just use the missiles when you get a group and the turret when they're all away from each other.

I am finally starting to have a little more fun with the powers, but of course now I can't use them....so that better end pretty soon.

By the way, wait until you get the patsy power. that thing is awesome the first time you get to pull that ability off.

Fuck the last boss, don't make the game very easy and then make the last boss hard as hell.

It took me about 12 hours to play through the game including most of the sidequests, minus the last boss.

I'm over 20 hours in and I'm at the final boss. I skipped the side quests once I got to mission 28 of 31.

You weren't kidding about the boss. This is a fucking joke. Cheap as shit. If he uses a devastator you're fucked. There doesn't see to be any way around it.

And the best part is that every time you die you have to watch that stupid cutscene every time.

Ok, I beat the bitch.

I found a very sweet strategy. For anyone that cares make sure to use your blade and armor. Then just use the charged up triangle (or Y on the 360) attack. It works well and after a few of these you get the option to jump on him and slash away, a lot like the WENDIGO's in Wolverine.

Do this a few times and your money. Just make sure to keep dodging and rolling and most importantly avoid his devastators. You'll know when they are coming. I didn't evebn have to use one devastator againsy him once I found this technique.

Doubtful. It's just the characters momentum that is aggravating I guess. It feels like he "gets away from you" at times. That's the best way I can describe it.
