you got a problem boy ? I made a factual statement regardless of whats right or wrong or true about this past incident /problem.

No ones defending Paterno here. But its a waste of time to rage about an older man who is gone now. He was like any other coach up until his 70s ot atad earlier, already an elderly man and a child rapist enters his life. it doesnt wash away all the true/real good he did all those years before then. regardless of what people could have done, Sandusky is still the one who personally destroyed more lives. Including those they say enabled him. Again, no one is defending Paterno but its a waste of time to rail on a dead man. The media so pathetic, just mocking someone who is dead. Its a waste of time.

they are practically blaming a dead person for all the junk his superiors and other officials did.

They were all in power and could have faced this shit head on, standing up to a guy who was continuously being targeted by authorities. Instead, they looked after their OWN ass, to keep enabling the sick fuck. Paterno even made sure he would get a bigger payday so he could hopefully ride off into the sunset before the shit hit the fan.

Actually, yeah, I do have a problem with the idea that you should just move on and not make a big deal out of a gigantic cover-up of child rape headed by a football coach demi-god. Outcry and throwing stones in this fact is exactly what needs to happen to prevent this from every happening again. Penn State needs to be made an example.

Moreover, I shouldn't be surprised you'd have that stance but no, the school and the football team is not a separate object from this issue. No, this issue is littered with school and team issues. Take the time to read the report or do proper research on the matter before spouting a stupid ass statement like that.

its their campus so they will do what they want........but i will say i stopped thinking of JoePa as JoePa after all was said and done.

he covered it up and ignored it......thats truly a terrible decision. and may be worse than actually committing the crime(s).

I cannot help but wonder how we should rate him as a coach considering other college coaches disciplined their students or have faced sanctions if they didn't. JoePa openly swept things under the rug in order to make it so his players wouldn't have to face possible suspensions and now his school may face sanctions for it now that he is gone. This isn't even related to the Sandusky thing, this is purely from a coaching standpoint and his history of not allowing the student affairs department to deal with his athletes.

If he had actually followed the rules his university and the NCAA set forth and allowed for the suspension of his players, god knows how many fewer wins he might have.
