Yes, there will be a Vita version of Madden '13 just not sure on all of the features yet and any cross functionality with the PS3 version.

I threw in the towel on Madden with the Ray Lewis cover. Too many fluff features and no attention to franchise mode drove me away.

Ask him how he would pitch the game nearly a decade later to a former loyal customer who lost interest because of hit sticks, passing cones, and setting hot dog prices.

This question please...even though I think long term the passing cone idea was a good one.

Great question, and one I want asked. There are definitely some who want to know.

Will they be bringing back real assistants to be hired in CC mode the way that there used to be in past versions of franchise mode?

1. Can co-commissioners be assigned in online franchise/online cc?

2. Can a players injury rating automatically fluctuate or is it stagnant like in years past? Can it be improved upon & manually progressed with XP?

3. When matched up vs a CPU opponent can you supersim (sim and jump in to play whenever you need) in online CC?

4. In previous Maddens there was what seemed to be a bad weather bug for certain teams in online franchises. When playing teams like the Jaguars, Panthers and a handful of others you would be playing in a monsoon in seemingly %80 of the games, has then been fixed in Madden 2013?

5. Does bad weather still lag games online? (it definitely happened, dont let them tell you otherwise)

6. In previous Maddens there were draft cheat sheets posted all over the internet because no matter the franchise the draft classes were the same. Will this still be possible, story lines aside, we know the biggest prospects can be injured and have their stock drop etc.... but will the connected career draft classes truly be random, specifically the names, positions, height, weight and school of the players and most importantly the ratings. In other words will we still be able to know whos is in what draft class based on the highest rated QB? (dont let them bullshit you on this, get a definitive answer)

7. In addition to depth chart subs, are there formation subs OUTSIDE of the playcall screen? Meaning can we pause the game and save formation subs or will we have the option to set formation subs in addition to our depth charts when game planning during the week before we are in game?

8. Has the ability to formation sub on special teams returned? This was in the game on the previous generation systems. This is critical when you have your #2 TE, when your base formation is a 2 TE set, and stud nickel back covering kicks getting injured.

9. Is in game progression/regression still in the game? Has there been any improvements to the simple green arrow up/red arrow down in the pause menu? Can you see the changes reflected through the ratings in the depth chart menu when you pause the game play? Is there anyway to see the changes without pausing the game?

10. Does connected careers have weekly and yearly awards?

11. Can you take screen shots from the replay menu? Can you upload it in game?

12. Has the bug in the highlight saves been fixed that doesnt show the entire play? This was patched in Madden 11 but the bug returned in Madden 12.

13. Are there still plays that cannot be viewed when saving highlights (was way too many in previous maddens)?

14. When saving highlights has the option to use your own camera view been added or has the same insufficient preset angles made a return?

15. Has there been any improvements (be specific) to the online franchise website? It has basically been the same bare bones website for the past 2 Maddens.

16. Does each coach have the ability to place a player on the IR and free up a roster spot (without making our own workaround) in CC.

Slightly off topic, but some of us in the chatbox were talking about this the other day:

What ever happaned to EA Messenger and the robust stats you could see online from your opponents?

EA Messenger let you click on a friend and be able to view a robust set of stats including their last 10 games, scores, who they played. As well as their favorite formations, the team they used the most, their blitz percentage,etc etc. It was a great scouting tool. A great amount of stats were there at the click of a button. This was for Madden and NCAA. This was on the old generation systems.

Fast forward to the new Gen and we have the barest of bones online setup for Madden and NCAA. Really bad compared to what the old generation had. Granted there is all this new dynasty and franchise rollouts, but the pick up and play players are left out in the cold as far as stat tracking. I understand with the way online services are rolled out now for 360 and Ps3 compared to online, but to just leave out what they had before is disappointing.

I know alot of people enjoyed the EA Messenger and the stat breakdown for each player when you click on them.

I don't know what to say. Every year is the same game with minor changes. Its like they cram everything into the game in one month before release date. Madden 12.5 smh. I guess Madden 13 will come out next year. We are getting raped by EA every year. I'm glad I'm not the only dumbass that keeps buying this game.

Hey, I'm brand new to the site, so hope you don't mind me offering some questions.

1) How is it going to work when you have a user-controlled player who is a 1st string on the depth chart vs. a user-controlled player who is 3rd string on the depth chart? Is the 3rd string just going to be forced to watch the entire game without playing at all or can the other user decide to play the cpu and supersim?

I just wanted to add, I know that a 1st vs. a 2nd stringer means that there are no supersims, you both just have to watch until you play. But I was wondering if it works the same way for a 3rd stringer, who really isn't gonna get to play at all.
