You really can't make a case otherwise, Raffy's overall numbers are legendary.

Of course he had the aid of ye old 33-36 year old second "peak", but still based purely on numbers there's no way you can keep him out.

Actually, it was his only peak. He hit significantly better the older he got. The guy was hitting 10 HR's per year in his 20's.

Aside from Bonds, he is the clearest case of cheating of the era. If that matters to you, I can understand voting no.

He was on the down tick of his career from 95-97 then all of a sudden had a resurgence from 98-02 at ages 33-37.

I'm not saying he had a Bonds/Clemens-esque type of repeat peak, but he certainly recovered from a downward slope at an advanced age.
 
The only two steroid freaks I'd put in the HOF are Clemens and Bonds. Steroids or not, they're HOF all the way ... and I hate both.

Oh, and Pete Rose. It's time. Yeah, he stained the game, but it's no worse than the MLB itself in the 90s and 00s turning a blind eye to raging roid abusers.

Raffy is the only guy that has made these clubs and isn't in. IMO he shouldn't because he is a juicer, but according to the Stats he is in the company of greatness. I say he gets in with a 81% vote
