FF peaked many years ago. Now any casual geek who doesnt know shit about football can play and do well with all of the information available via 9,000 magazines and the internet. It wasnt too long ago you actually had to watch games, do your own research, and know what the fuck you were doing. Now you can just auto draft and do whatever ESPN.com suggest you to do, and do reasonably well. It's not nearly as fun anymore.

Fantasy baseball jumped the shark to some degree too, but is harder for casual dumbfucks to play, so it's back to being a better experience than football.

ive been playing fantasy football like a champ since 99. I kicked the habit this year and never realized how annoying it sounded to others who didnt play it.
I dont have time to sit at a pc every sunday and scour for the next big backup rb like i used to.

This. I look at my lineup for each team maybe 15 minutes each week, always Sunday morning when I'm hungover. I have looked at my teams less than ever before, and yet my combined record for both leagues is 9-2.
