Rams Have #1 Overall Pick, Lions Have #2

The Rams have drafted in the first round Kennedy, Pickett, Lewis, Carriker, and Long within the past 10 years. All have been busts in St. Louis, with the exception of Long, and the jury is still out on him. However, don't get your hopes up Lions fans, the Rams are taking Suh. Hopefully in the second round the Rams can draft a QB or linebacker. The Rams can fill other holes, like a number one WR and serviceable QB, through free agency.

lions will not take an OT they wont take berry. they will take suh if he is there and mccoy if not. yesterdays presser schwartz was big on not taking focusing to much on one area and spreading the draft picks around so that the franchise gets to the point where they are using the picks to supplement for older players and depth. something that was clearly not part of the agenda under millen. He thinks highly of backus (for some reason) which means there wont be an OT and hes not gonna add another safety in berry so that puts them square on the DL.

I don't care where they take him. I don't care how low his release is. The guy is a football player, and he's a winner. I'd definately take a chance on him, and if he cant play QB, i'd find something for him to do on the footbal field.

I agree that he's a winner and I'd love to have him on the Rams. However, he doesn't have the arm to be an NFL QB and a flex player isn't worthy of a top three round selection.

But if you want this particular player, you have to take him that high.

Josh Cribbs returns kicks, plays gunner on special teams, plays some WR, and takes snaps at QB. I'm not saying Tebow and Cribbs have similar styles, but I think it's pretty obvious Cribbs would have gone in the first three rounds had everyone knew what he'd become.

I still say the Rams wind up going with a QB. Keith Null is dog shit... Bulger will be cut and Boller is well.. dog shit squared.

It will remain to be seen which QB makes the case for himself to be the #1 .. whether that be Clausen or Bradford (highly doubt it'll be Tebow, McCoy, Pike and onward down the line)..

I say the Rams take Clausen and the Lions get a gift at #2 with the best player in the draft.

A seahawks fan can only wish right no suh will be terrorizing the seahawks and nfc west for years to come unless a good deal comes up where we can get a couple more draft picks in the first round as long as the rams play it smart we cant really lose in this draft...

umm, i may not be on the spot with my lions info, but didnt they just draft a qb last year? what would be the point in having 2 first round paid qb's on that team? one of them will have to sit and they both will be getting paid.

lol maybe 4th overall, no way does McCoy fall to the second round. A lot of people view him as the third best player in the draft behind Suh and Berry.
