Dude, I didn't get if off of some tabloid internet site. It's OK that you don't believe it. I don't save links to everything I read. No link, you don't have to believe. But I did read it. Chile was quoted in the article when he described what happened with the penalty. The article was quoting him when he was on one of those paid "satellite radio" stations.

I would venture to say that had Favre never came another season of his baffling decisions, woeful gameplanning and bullish commitment to his awful quarterback would have only been compounded by a second consecutive first round playoff exit. At this point in time, if Favre had never arrived, Childress's job likely would be even less secure than it is right now.

The reason the relationship between Favre and Childress is what "lost" him the locker room is that prior to this Childress had never been challenged by a leader. When the time did come for Childress to man-manage it became clear how unequipped he is. So what can we take from this? When a team has no leaders in the locker room Childress can quite capably take it to a roughly .500 season. But when the players of character required to go deep into the playoffs are added, Childress throws the toys out of the pram. Excellent.

I would be ridicously ignorant to just blankly state that Favre had nothing to do with the split between Childress and Favre now wouldn't I. Sure if Favre wasn't there Childress wouldn't have been able to fall out with him, he'd have happily co-existed with Jackson, because Jackson will never have the authority to challenge him, but Jackson will also never have the ability to win a Championship. This is true but at the same time it's Childress' simp ass getting into SUVs and picking Favre up at the airport. He's def part of the problem.
