I think all these guys would be better just staying where they are, cus their teams are already like somewhat built, and are a piece or two away from competing for a championship!

he makes 21 because he signed it before the CBA right? There are max players and i was under the assumption that meant they signed the max amount a FA could sign to avoid things like marbury getting 21 mil. imma google this.

yea i was right, just didnt knw it changed every year. looks like enxt year the most a FA will make is 18.9 mil a year for vets with 10yrs experience.

say lebron and wade looks like lebron is getting 13.5 max and wade 16.2 max. for the first year. then they could go higher but there are limits.

This is one of those trades that can make the Bulls better, but in the grand scheme of things does little for their place in the standings and being able to contend with the conferences elite. I give it a meh.....Boozer has always been one of those guys who at the end of the game you realize had a 20/10 game, but from watching the game you wouldn't be able to tell. His impact is minimal.

Makes more sense IMO to get a guard back seeing as without Hinrich we would be very thin in the backcourt. Outlaw is nice but Bayless or Blake makes more sense IMO

Outlaw is a better fit. He may not be a lockdown defender but he can play multiple positions (SF, SG, PF).


Plus, Outlaw's size is needed when it comes to team rebounding.

Awesome trade for all teams.

The Bulls get that low post threat that they have always needed in Boozer. Not to mention a guy who is LOADED with potential.

The Blazers get a proven guard to play alongside Brandon Roy and can do more for them immediately than Steve Blake or even Bayless can do at this point. Hinrich would fit perfect with that system, and he can play above average defense.

The Jazz first and foremost are able to re-sign Millsap, stay under the cap, and get a still very raw and talented big out of the deal.

Win-Win-Win situation to me. They just need to pull the trigger on it.
