Harvin will prob get the offensive, he's been about as productive as the other rookie WRs catching the ball, but in the return game he constantly provides the Vikes with great field position, which is something that can't be discounted. Defensively i like byrd if he keeps playing the way he has been, tho he might get snubbed for being on the bills

I dont think he's been overhyped, he's a rookie QB in the NFL. What Ryan and Flacco did last season is RARE, i dont think anyone expected Sanchez to come in and just light it up right away

I agree on the second half of the statement....however, if you haven't payed attention to Jets highlights and young QB talk then you've missed the constant ball bathing and yap yap yap about Sanchez. The vignettes, the interviews, the constant commentator talk during games with him. It's ridiculous when compared to his play on the field. Like I said, you hear anything about Delhomme on shows, from fans or in game commentary, and it's nothing but terrible....but Sanchez has near identical numbers.

I have not been impressed with Sanchez when I have seen him this year. I've heard the comment "He has great composure for a rookie" repeated like a mantra, yet for all his composure I've seen Sanchez screw up more times than Rex Grossman.

Well he's had his moments of great play. He had a decent 3 weeks, then slumped badly...in fact, many Jet fans were concerned about the fact he had around 8 turnovers in those 3 games from INT's, then fumbles. That 5INT effort against the Bills, he was TRASHED for but you don't comment on that. You wouldn't know about that because your upset they hyped him up when he was actually playing good for a rookie who only had 1 year of college experience with WR's Cotchery and Keller basically to throw to at first. He's barely had Cotch/Edwards/Keller on the field at the same time which are the top 3 options in the Jets offense.

Face it, he's going to get the hype because he's in NY. 2, he's coming from a glamour program in USC, 3. he does have the tools to become a good QB in this league. 4. he has the look. Combine those, of course he's going to get hyped up more than...someone like Chad Henne.

Before the season, Berrian and Sidney Rice were pretty much nobodies. Hines Ward and Santonio Holmes were pretty much established ... especially when you consider that Holmes pretty much sealed the Super Bowl victory last season for the Steelers.

Sanchez gets all that hype and attention because he plays in New York and in the Eastern Time Zone. If he played out west in San Diego or Seattle most of you guys would barely know he was playing in the NFL.
