How is he making a mockery of the league when it is a league rule that teams can only pay $500,000 towards the buyout of a contract. The NBA handcuffed themselves with that decision.
As for Rubio, he is not the first or last player to be drafted and stay overseas. It happens A LOT and isn't surprising in the least.
