My cunt roommate was making fun of the Spurs for losing to West Ham, clearly the kid doesn't understand the importance of team cohesion and a manager. Then again he's an Arsenal fan, so he probably doesn't know much about the management side of things anyway.

Actually I'd argue that Arsenal fans know a good deal about management. If it weren't for Wenger's skill as a manager Arsenal would've faded long ago.

Double edged sword, my friend. He's likely never known another manager at the club besides Wenger, meaning he takes it for granted. It's alot like College BBall in that when you have a coach for 15+ years you tend to forget the struggles of adapting to management changes and the effects of lack of leadership.

Meh, I wouldn't say that, unless your friend is a moron.

I've been through Houllier, Benetiz, Hodgson, Dalglish, and now Rodgers. Hopefully we stick with Rodgers even when times get tough.

I think its one of those situations where he's thinking "Why don't they just go out and get a Top Flight A+ manager" when in reality AVB led Tottenham to their highest point total ever last season. I question his knowledge because he thinks Tottenham, while they've never been relegated, is in that top tier with Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool, and Chelsea, despite only once having a top 4 finish.
