I agree with this. That game was over. Your receivers all had butter fingers that game. No chance you're winning that game in that situation, so why risk the health of your $80 million franchise quarterback?
Without Steven Jackson and those receivers, St. Louis is just not a good team. I don't care if Bill Belichick is their coach.

All that said, I can understand why Rams' fans are frustrated. This was supposed to be your break-through season ... and injuries and a brutal schedule are killing it. Philly, NYG in NY, then Baltimore. St. Louis needed everything to go right, and it clearly hasn't. I'm not sure that can all be pinned on the coach.
