Damn, can't believe I finally got ya.. you musta' had an off day, cuz usually
your kickin' my ass up and down the field.. well today was the Saints turn..
today was all about containment and not let'n anything get too outta control..
After watching highlights of Fred Jackson for the past couple weeks I knew if
he got goin' it'd be a looooong game, so most importantly it was about keepin
you off the field, hence the Saints rush attack, I think they all got touches, &
even though no one really got loose it was just enough to manage the clock &
keep them Bills off the green.. So it looks like it's back to The Dome next time
around.. thx again for the game DDR, definetly a class act.. check ya down the
line for that rematch.

LoL.. I swear, doin' it ol' school like that is just how we do it bra'.. damn good
game.. After you absolutely shut'n down everything I was "throwin'" at ya in
the first half, including the scoreboard (ouch), I thought I'd come out in the
2nd half and switchup a lil' on ya, and what do I get out of running it all the
way down the field ?? 3 !! At that point I had to literally calm myself down and
realize the weapons I had and just play football.. The earlier knockouts of
Davis and Hightower were both monsterous!! As you could've used both those
guys severly in the 2nd half, especially Hightower just to control the clock..
but I had this feeling things were gonna change possibly when I recovered
that onsides kick that looked like a regular kickoff (glad they put that in the
game, sneaky shyt right there.. I like it).. So again, had to put it on Saints-D
to not let you do your thang, the secondary took it personally.. some of those
passes were ridiculously sharp for Grossman, but then (like you said on the
S3) he became Grossman again.. LoL.. falling completely apart in the 4th qtr..
So, my gameball has gotta go to the Saints secondary, for shut'n down Joe M,
er, Rex G in that 2nd half.. Humble, I swear though, this is how we've always
done it, but really I think this was the first time you shut me out in a half and
had me slightly worried, but somehow I just knew it was gonna end up like it
always does, close as a mf'er in the end.. Now, let's not make it another
month before we do it again ;-) ... lata' bruddah'.

P.o.G.= Saints Secondary.. They shut it down when it mattered most!

Listen, I wouldn't exactly call goin' for it on 4th bullshyt.. Let me put it like
this, it's how I run, it's how i've always run, if I see something that could get
me the 1st I'm gonna go for it, and if I lose then that's better field position
for you, but please, don't request that I change how I play, I would NEVER do
that to you, if your gonna go for it on 4th then it's up to me come up with a
"D" that can stop ya, and if I can't and you get the 1st then so be it.. And I
wouldn't say that you started it (LoL).. I run a combo Saints/Hawai'i offense,
meaning i'm gonna throw, gonna come out in shotgun, run-n-shoot, spread,
whatever it takes to have as many weapons on the field as I can.. Have ya
checked my record lately, it's something like 24-31, 6 of those "L"s came on
disconnects which would put me at 24-25, sub .500 if you may.. i'm no world
beater, nor make claims to being a champion Madden baller, I just play the
game like the 2 teams I watch the most.. If I go for it it's maybe because i've
seen Coach Payton take the gamble, or if Hawai'i goes for it it's usually cuz
they see some kind of mis-match that they can take advantage of, very fast
paced, go go go, that's my style, you know this.. So again, please don't ask
me now, after all these years, to change my style.. And as a sidenote, do
understand it's not like I go for it on 4th all the time anyways, all depends on
the situation mostly, but if it's 4th and 2 (or therabouts) and I see a way of
get'n the 1st i'm going to do it!.. Anyways, gotta couple things to do around
the house here right quick and could be ready to run a game at..

too personally, what I just said, we've been doing this too long, your my boy

you been doing this 4th down stuff for awhile now, which i havent cared much at all since i am expecting it.
but the one that you went into a hurry up huddle after 3rd and long (coming up short - 4th &1) in my nickel package, my side of the field, was really not to my liking.
yes, i could have called a TO, but i regret to say that that play was just not cool and cheap......
if it was the 4th quarter or even the 2nd half and your were down, i would definitely look at that differently but it was the only the 1st qtr.....

sorry man;
dont mean to be disrespectful in your thread but i have witnessed a certain consistency with your 4th down calls lately.

anyway;
you did win the game and i could have done some things differently......

?? and I punted.. man, you guys are killin' me.. first Dave, and now of all

The situation Humble is describing is not str8 sim whatsoever.
I agree the odd changeup is fine, but you're going off the boat doing shit like that. I defy you to find an NFL coach who does the same.
Again, I regret that one 4th down where I went for it against you ... not because I thought what I did was wrong, but because of how it changed your game style vs. us.

It's sad because you seem like a great guy. I have always enjoyed our games ... until this year.

game ya had the Saints @ Rams correct ?? the Rams coach Spagnola (sp?)
went for it on 4th 3 times.. 4th & 2 in the first half and 4th-n- 2 & 4th-n-6
with the lead in the second half, all 3 times and got all 3 first downs, needless
to mention the "W".. guarantee you coach Payton didn't call Spags up
complaining/whining about goin' for it on 4th with a lead.. LoL..
defy me ?? yeahright.. again, to reiterate....

Is New England not sim ?? (no huddle, shotgun.. occasionally goin' for it on 4th)

Is New Orleans not sim ?? (no huddle, shotgun.. occasionally goin' for it on 4th)

Is Hawai'i not sim ?? (no huddle, 4 or 5-wide, no huddle ALL GAME LONG)

Is Oregon not sim ?? (same as above, except more running, no huddle, rush back
to the line, tempo offense, & they go for it on 4th A LOT!!

The hell with ANYONE that thinks I don't run sim.. I run the same way I always have
and ALWAYS will.. I mean check my record.. i'm .500 at best.. sometimes I win,
