I played the beta a bit. game seems cool I just have a hard time keeping interest in games like this

Did you play Warhawk at all? I best thing about this game is the community behind it.

For the most part I realized my friends like shit games and learned to not have to problems playing with randoms. I rarely let my friends influence if I buy a game or not.

I understand your sentiment as I had a ton of fun with MAG even though I didn't have anyone on my friends list who played it for a while. However, playing with guys you know makes the experience a whole lot better IMO.

I'm guessing Sony threw some money at IGN to get that score. It is IGN we're talking about. But 7s and 8sI feom other sites still tell me it's obviously solid.
My buddy told me Gamestop is actually offering a pretty good pre-order promotion. Apparently you get an extra co-op map amd exfra missions for single player, along with a soundtrack I believe?

All I got from the reviews were that the SP was basically a tutorial for the MP.

After that, the MP was apparently the shit.

That's enough for me but with the added bonus of free MP Map DLC forever just sweetens the deal.

At first I had no clue what you were talking about. I just thought there were user created levels or something. Then I saw a link to Sony's Facebook page and it says that all DLC for the game will be free. That's fucking awesome. I really need to try to pick this up then.

Learn how to do the basics with weapons, running with vehicles, dropping support buildings (it's like Command-and-Conquer but you order up all your shit on the ground), etc.

I've never played Warhawk so this was my first time flying today... shit was pretty rad but I need tons of work on manuvers.

Once I get done with the campaign, it's time to hit up the MP. :longo:

Don't know why anyone would think otherwise. Flying is something that you will get the more you do it. In Warhawk I pretty much got to the point where I was exclusively in the air. Once you understand the mechanics of the the flight controls you start pulling off the crazy shit. Pro Flight Controls >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Arcade

I found out shortly after my last post that the pre-order bonuses at Gamestop was actually a GS exclusive Limited Edition. I called my local store and they said they had five extra copies that weren't reserved for pre-orders. Hopefully I can pick one up after court this morning.

I was also informed by my buddy that the Facebook info was very misleading. According to the PlayStation blog all of the multiplayer DLC will be free but they do intend of having paid DLC at some point.
