Steal of the 09 Draft

Who do you guys think will be the biggest steal of this years draft?

I have two, Jasper Brinkley MLB from South Carolina. When I used to watch him playing for the Gamecocks I always told myself he is gonna be a great NFL player. A lot of mocks have him going in the 4th round but I think when his career is all said and done he'll have a better career than most of the linebackers taken on day 1.

Deon Butler WR from Penn State is my second steal. I know he has always been overshadowed by Derrick Williams and the running game but I believe he is going to be a serious late round steal. He has nice speed and good hands. With a little more work on his route running he could be a deadly slot option for some team.

I know Nicks is a first rounder but I really think he'll have a better career than Crabtree. He's got such a big body and can throw his weight around. I would love to see him on the Packers if we weren't already stacked there.

I think James Davis from Clemson will be a good pick up too. I think he's projected to go in the 6th round. He had to split time with C.J. Spiller so his production wasn't huge like the first, second and third rounders. With the recent popularity in having a 2 back system, Davis should be a great fit for any team.

Not sure who but I have a feeling that a WR not taken in the first 2 rounds will end up having a HOF career when all is said and done.

I Like Ramses Barden Cal-Poly WR...6'5" big WR could be solid....

I agree with Brinkley, if he was a bit taller and a step faster he'd be 1st round

how about Javon Ringer??? looks like he'll fall, yeah he's undersized but the Maurice Jones Drews and Brian Westbrooks were too...hes a tough runner

QB Mike Teel...WR Tiquan Underwood, both played great at Rutgers but arent rated highly for the draft

the thing with Brinkley is that he was considered to be a first rounder but then he tore his ACL and wast the same the year after, i see some team taking a chance on him late 2nd/early third and he will be a superstar IMO, much better value than Maualuga in the teens

Mike Goodson, RB - Texas A&M; deceptive quickness, great burst. He's a tough runner too with top flight speed and reliable hands out of the back field. If anyone in this draft is a steal for their projected value, it's Mike Goodson.

Louis Murphy, WR - Florida; Lived in the shadow of Percy Harvin and Tim Tebow, but I think Murphy was their best receiver. Great height and speed (6'3"; 4.32 40-yard dash), can seperate on the deep route, has dependable hands and plays with his heart.

Bradley Fletcher, CB - Iowa; Only really started his senior season, but showed excellent flashes of being a top NFL cornerback. Has great hips and quickness, very explosive, and what I love is he's aggressive going after the football when the ball's in the air. He's not afraid to get his nose dirty and make a dive to swat a ball or make a bit hit, which you love to see out of a DB.

Though he's prorbably going to be a 1st round pick im going to say Illinois CB Vonte Davis. He's a big physical CB that has the size and athleticism to stick with some of the elite WRs at the NFL level, in 3-4 years i think we'll look back and he'll be one of the best players that came out of this draft class

I like Javon Ringer, too. He runs well between the tackles and gets the maximum yardage out of his short runs. I don't think any of the other RBs will amount to much.

No one really thinks about Vontae Davis, yes he is in the first round, but he will have the ability to strengthen any defense that he walks into immediately.

J.Hen are you serious about Graham Harrell, the guy has a noodle arm and cant even read the field, i think he is going to be a backup at best in this league but we all have opinions and i hope you prove me wrong as i like Graham as a person but man he sucks lol,

ringer was a workhorse at State, wonder if he'll have enough in the tank , maybe to beat up to do anything.
