It would definitely be a fun fight, but Cung isn't active enough to warrant it. But, I don't know why they were talking about UFC vs SF matches the whole night anyway. They know Dana is not going to make any of those fights happen, unless those guys are on UFC contracts.

The big money, big PPVs are always going to be under the UFC brand, so there's no way they're going to tarnish that by having SF guys beat their best fighters.

Out of all of Jardines TD's he landed a total of 3 strikes or something, Mousasi beat his ass all fight, takedowns that do nothing should and are worth nothing, Mousasi got back up everytime, even with the point deduction, the ONE judge got it right, 29-27

just brutal

also, there is really no such thing as 'stealing a round' with a takedown even according to the rules, like with hawn/good, when the majority of the fight is in one range (standing or on the ground) the round will be judged off that, not a TD with 5 seconds left

anyway, Gil did work, just killed Kawajiri

I wanted to pick Aoki, but thought Fancy Pants would have sprawled and brawled, oh well, that was a ground clinic by Aoki, good job

Diaz is just a machine, dude fights like someone should, all out and with skill, went back and rewatched this morning, Daley clipped him right on the temple with that left hook, Nick was out for a second, but did enough to defend and recover

I think the stop was to soon, but going back, Daley couldnt even get on his stool, not sure if he would have made it out of the round or to the 2nd, but he needed a chance to IMO

I still wanna know exactly what happened to Daley.. he just kind of..dropped.. he wasnt really coming off a shot or anything, altho he was beat the fuck up. But he just kind of dropped unprovoked, it was quite weird. I almost thought dude was having a seizure at first. Also WTF @ the seemingly soccer kick, we all thought he kicked him in the head, but I trust Big John to know it hit the body. I was like WTF is Daley doing?! Poor replay work to not show it twice.

Gil DESTROYED Kawajiri, that was fun to watch.

Credit to Jardine, he faught a pretty damn good fight. I thought it was pretty evident he won the first, Mousasi won the next 2, so I had no problem with the Draw. I fully expected it after the point was deducted.

Aoki's disection on the ground is flat out fun to watch. As soon as he took Beerbohm down I said "The fight will be done within a minute", he didnt make it that long.

rewatched it today, Diaz landed a nice combo, the last shot was a right hook over the top, Daley brain was scrambled, tried to clinch and than pushed off and fell, stanky leg style

I think the body shots did some serious damage also

Daley was definitely beaten up really badly.. a friend of mine was asking "why is Daley so gassed?" and I told him hes not gassed, hes fucking beat down, its very hard to look fresh when your getting your ass beat. I can definitely see why Daley just dropped like that, just not something you see too often. That may have been one of the more entertaining 1-round fights you'll ever see tho.. back and forth, a TON of strikes thrown, Diaz got dropped, Daley dropped, an odd-looking soccer kick, just an awesome amount of action for one-round.

Strikeforce has been coming realllll strong lately, shame its all for nothing lol.

They have to make a rematch happen, Daley vs Diaz on PPV who wouldn't want to see that? Then by that time maybe T-Wood would be ready for a shot.

Plus, Diaz said he was unhappy about fighting so much, I'd expect him to return after the summer.

Np, a rematch doesn't mean it has to be right away. Why a rematch? Why not? The fight was awesome and should be just as good the 2nd time around. The stoppage was debatable and Daley poses the biggest threat to Diaz right now, until T-Wood is ready. So who else are you going to throw in there that would make for a more entertaining fight? Don't advance someone for the sake of creating a new matchup, make the most entertaining fights possible and that's a rematch.

I don't consider the stoppage questionable so that's why I'd go elsewhere instead of an immediate rematch.

I didnt have a problem with the stoppage. Daley was loopy and could barely get up, nd was lights on, nobody is home on the stool.

With that said, i'd watch a rematch. Why not. Nobody left for Diaz to face.
