i got to slammed up this week to be able to write my usual deal, but i will say this about the game...

I feel like the steelers will win comfortably, like by 10 or more. Defense wins championships and this one is the best in the league right now. Big Ben will step up and play like we all know he can and the talk about Tony homo or Eli being as good as him will stop forever.

as far as your prediction, I wouldnt mind seeing that either. But I doubt the game will be that tight. my dream would be 31 17 Cards. If I am wrong, I hope the Cards at least keep it interesting and dont get blown out.

Cards have to get out to an early start and show they can put up yards on the Steelers D. If they can play ahead in the first half and make Big Ben pass the ball, we could see an upset. That's all good in theory but I must admit I am scared shit less.

i am not as scared of this game as i was when the championships were over, but it will be a good game and anyone can win. I stand by my steelers by 10 or more prediction however.

The reason I think the Cards will win is because they showed last year that they can beat the Steelers with Wisenhunt's knowledge of Pittsburgh's playbook.

And, Rams29Jackson, why would you even bring up that thing about "we" when Steeljake refers to the Steelers? Every single true fan considers the team to be "theirs", therefore they say "we" when referring to them.

really? so what happened to the pats last year? they had the best offense in history...

defense wins championships my aussie friend, look at the 70's steelers, the 2000 ravens, 2002 bucs, the pats vs the rams in SB 36, the colts run to the sb in 06, the list goes on.

Yes the 9ers won 5 rings on what is remembered as a great offense, but they had a boss D too, so did the cowboys of the 90's, the raiders of the 80's and when the broncos finally broke through they had a bad ass D too. Offense scores points, but Defense wins championships, always has always will.

true fan is a pointless term. i'm a true fan , I like sports. I understand whos good and whos not and why etc. But only kids and immature adults use the term -we-. You will understand as you get older. your friends will look at you like youre a loose nut.

If you aint on the payroll or you dont have anything to do 1st hand with the gameplan you arent any part of -we- . You are just someone buying merchandise and cheering on the sidelines.


and I will be cheering for the Cards!.....probably disappointed by half time .....I really hope not to be disappointed : )

To get the passing going the need to set up the run so they can go playaction to larry, and no body runs on the steelers when healthy so Zona wont get it done,

I don't know what friends you have who look at you like a "loose nut" because you use the term "we" when referring to your team, but you should probably get some new ones cause those guys sound like some lame ass people.

If you don't feel strong enough about a team that you can't even say "we" when referring to them, then you're not a true fan.

So I guess 99.9 percent of people are immature because they use the term we. Hell when I met Ellis Hobbs I used the term "we".
