Free Agency

The Texans needed a powerful kicker, and they got it.

Yamon Figurs (WR): 1 year/760K
Matt Prater (K): 3 years/2.28M
Tye Hill (CB): 5 years/12.30M
C.C. Brown (SS): 1 year/1.24M

The Texans went into free agency in a tight cap situation after signing Dunta Robinson but were still able to pull in very good players.

Matt Prater is going to be a HUGE upgrade on the special teams. Kris Brown was unable to hit kicks longer than 51 yards this season and Matt Prater has the range to hit near 63 yarders.

Tye Hill and Yamon Figurs were added to the team because of speed and upside. Both of these guys can fly and have good potential. Look for Tye Hill to compete for the 3rd string corner back spot.

C.C. Brown was added to bring veteran leadership to the secondary. He played for the Texans from 2005-2008. Next is the NFL Draft!​

He's 28, and I was thinkinng he may get a little better, but not a huge improvement.

Levi is a monster, helped Slaton get all those rushing yards last year .

I'm the Broncos in GGML and Matt Prater is a fucking monster, hitting 58 yard FG's with a lot of room for more yards into the wind :rofl: I moved Kris Brown to punter since I had no other punter.
