So I went to Best Buy after work to look at 360s. I noticed that if you buy the 4GB with kinect they give you a $50 gift card. Would it be wise to get this one then use the gift card on a 16 GB flash drive? Then just buy flash drives when I need more memory?

Eh, if you don't blame on using the 360 to download any movies, tv shows or much DLC. The DLC will add up over time, and if you are like me, you won't want to remove it.

Personally, I would buy the Gears 360 when it comes out. You get a massive hard drive, two controllers and the game for $400. Not sure if it comes with Kinect though, which might be a deal breaker for you.

Try it out first. I know a lot of people who bought a Wii, played the heck out of it and then it sat. Some people I know just gave it away. Since you don't have kids, I would try Kinect at someones house or even go into Best Buy and try it on display. I really think its going to go the way that the Wii did for a lot of people.

If you're 20 there isn't a reason for you to own a Kinect. It's garbage and really only good for dancing games (read: Dance Central). Every one that I know that owns one is exactly how Thomas explained. For about a month it was the coolest thing since sliced bread. They haven't touched it since. At least with the Wii they still have the core quality Nintendo titles. Kinect has jack squat.

If you like playing the "hardcore" games that is probably you're best bet. It also helps to remember that MS has not supported the Kinect at all. It's sold amazing well but the games have been pathetic. The first party games even worse.

I looked at the list of games and was quite disappointed. I also realized that with school about to start again I will have less time to play and the time that I do have I would want to spend on all the big releases

halfway through Vanquish and I'm really enjoying the japanese take on Gears/halo

last time i had this much fun with a game was with Jet Grind Radio on the Sega Dreamcast
which is bitter sweet,,,,just bc it seems that Vanquish, much like Bayonetta and jet grind radio will most likely never have another new installment to the series released bc Sega Has no idea how to market anything

So I know that some of you know that I picked up Brink on the Amazon Gold Box sale (twigg, just let me know when you want to play and I'll be on.) But I also looked at the other low priced games, and for $10 bucks, I couldn't pass up DarkStarOne: Broken Alliance.

First, a disclaimer. I am someone who played both Tie Fighter, X-Wing vs Tie Fighter and X-Wing Alliance religiously. Ever since Alliance, I've been wanting a sci-fi flight simulator, and this is the closest I have come to it. I've only completed the first three missions, but I'm very entertained, especially considering its low price and that it is a port of a PC game from five years ago.

I've read the reviews. Its a repetitive game. But so are a lot of games- I point to the first Mass Effect as one of those, especially for side missions. But so far I am loving it and its so worth the money I paid for it, and I'm not even that far in it.

Has anyone else played the Driver:SF demo? Man, this game has bargain bin written all over it. The game play is pretty fun. It reminds me a TON of the Wheelman. But the voice acting might be the worst I've ever heard in a current gen game.
