Sitting at 18-6 (6-1) so far with Gonzaga... got a young team and I've eeked out some close ones in conference. My sophomore PG who started last year has come into his own, as has my sharpshooting sixth man from last year turned starting SG who has taken over mulitple games for me, including going off for 38 to help me pull off a win against Santa Clara after I was down 45-19 at the half.
The lone senior on my squad is my best player, a PF. He got hurt for 21 days... came back and in his first game reinjured it only worse and he's done for the year now. Sad to see him go out like that... he was a solid player on a 32-3 team and a 32-1 team, and now he got hurt when he was supposed to show big and carry us.
In good news, I landed a 4* C... 6'10 232 pounds, avg 12 pts, 11 boards, 3 blks a game in the ABL and the #72 player in the nation.

I don't know if it's a sequel, but the developers are working on a game called The Last Guardian.
I think Shadow of the Colossus might also be considered a prequel to Ico. If you haven't already and if you can get your hands on a copy, you might want to give Ico a try.

Okay... so I simmed the rest of the conference schedule and the conference tourney and finished 25-8 (11-3), winning the regular season title and the conference tourney title. Promptly played the first round game as the #12 seed against #5 seed Miami (FL), and lost a heartbreaker 83-79.
So, I got to the coaching carousel, and guess what. The UConn job is open. Yes, Jim Calhoun finally called it quits, and I was #1 on their list to take the job. I thought long and hard about this decision. I don't want to leave my boys at Gonzaga, but UConn is a top notch job in a great recruiting area thats tough to pass up. I ended up taking it, so now I'm the head man in Stoors.
Calhoun left me a lot of toys to play with... a very good soon-to-be senior SF who can shoot the 3 among them, as well as the nation's #2 overall player in a dominating 7-foot 270 pound C whom I couldn't convince to come to Gonzaga.
Gonzaga hired Murray State's head coach to replace me... fucker better not mess up what I had going there, I left him plenty of talent to work with.
My eventual hope is that I have success at UConn and Thad Matta continues to struggle in Columbus (He's made the NCAA's once in the 5 years of my legacy), and I can swoop in and take my dream job.

I started a dynasty with Michigan and boy do they suck. I have got a lot of work to do with them. My PG doesnt have a jumpshot but can drive and shoot in traffic but I hate when driving and kicking out to my SG or SF cause they will be wide open for the 3 and flat out miss. Then to top it off my big men cant box out for the life of them and we get killed on the boards. We have started 0-2 and things dont look good in year 1.

NBA 2k10 is just a fun game overall... I've got an association going with the Bobcats. I really don't take this one as serious as my CH2k8 one, in fact I don't play any regular season games outside of maybe one or two against a stacked team or against Lebron/Kobe/Melo, but I play all the playoff games.
Started things off by trading away Gerald Wallace and Stephen Jackson and tanking the first season... Raymond Felton made the all-star team lol. Won the lottery and had the #1, #7, and #22 picks in the draft, promptly took myself at #1 (Only way I can have fun in an NBA franchise is if I'm in it), a pretty good PF Harmon at #7, and a SF Frazier at #22.
Now, when I made myself, I made myself in the vague likening of a mix between Kobe and Lebron. My overall was down (around an 87 because thats the highest I had seen a rook come in before), but I had a high potential so I figured I would progress. Well, my team didn't have much outside of me offensively for more than half the season, so I averaged around 35, 14, and 8 a game. Unrealistic as all hell but I could care less its fun for me.
I traded for Kevin Martin (Gave up Raymond Felton, and my 1st and 2nd round picks), as well as Josh Howard (he sucks down the road now but he's still a solid guy coming off the bench) and he gave me another guy to go to. We rolled to the #1 seed and swept the Magic in the first round. The Raptors took it to me in the second round though, I had no answer for Bargnani and Bosh down low and they took it in 6.
So, in the off-season, I brought in Shaq, and he's at least decent at helping Tyson Chandler try and slow down the other team's big man.
Around the NBA:

- The Cavs have won 2 straight titles, beating the Lakers 4-3 in year 1 and 4-2 last year. Lebron just wouldn't let 'em lose.
- Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are beasts... they've carried the Thunder to the WCF for the past two years.

Dragon age really sucks...no offense to all who loved it. BF is pretty solid, and I'm on my 2nd playthrough of Heavy Rain. I need another game...possibly FIFA.
In the middle of an online game my PS3 decides to kick the bucket - two hours before I leave to get Final Fantasy XIII. And I just purchased FFVII and FFVIII off PSN not too long ago. FML.
With no console (or the funds to purchase another one) in the near future, I might as well just trade in all my games.

Well, I played the first game of my tenure at UConn... got lucky and got out of East Lansing with a 70-67 win over #1 Michigan State. My SF Jason Ferris went off with 17 points, and my freshman C Hernandez had 22 points, 11 boards, and 3 blks, he was the first team pre-season All-American at center and he reminds me a lot of Greg Oden.
My guard play is terrible... I can legimately go 8-9 deep in the frontcourt.. but I have one PG and one SG on the roster, and 2 SF's.
