Slayer of Demons
I've been playing a lot of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning aka The Game That Never Ends. I literally have been going area by area doing side quests. I'm at about level 22, and I've barely done any of the main story line. Now I should say that I am enjoying the game, but I can see why a lot of people complain about there being too many things to do.
I will say that I like the level scaling they implemented in the game as it makes it very hard to encounter an enemy that will outright destroy you. Each area/dungeon scales to the level of your character the first time you enter it, and as long as you clear out each area's side quests before moving on, the enemies will keep you on your toes during combat. As I unfortunately found out, the downside is that if you decide to just run around and explore the (mostly accessible) world at a low level, those areas will always be scaled to that low level character, and you won't get very much XP later on when you decide to do missions in those areas.
I love that game. My best strategy so far has been to get at least one Mantis member and beam them to enemy ships and disable their shields/crew late in the game. I'm always having a hard time getting enough scrap to upgrade my power and shields or weapons enough to do well after the fifth sector.

It's not enough for FTL to kill me, but no, it likes to hold me down and just repeatedly wail on my nuts as well.
