Because if they already knew they were going to release it they should've held off the PS3 release until they could include it. It's just dumb to have everything...except one piece of DLC.

You're already paying $60 for a game that is a year old. Sure you get the other DLC that you pointed out is worth $20. If the game was $40 it would be a moot point. It still seems like you are getting ripped off without even mentioning you aren't getting the complete experience.

ya know whats is bullshit...companant cables that are clustered. both the ps3 and 360 do this shit where you have to use their specific cables. but it would be nice if they at least split the cable so the video cables are seperate from the audio cables. how u supposed to run your consoles audio cables to a reciever when they are stuck with the video cables near the back of your tv. lame asses

oh, and heavy weapons is the best arcade game i have ever played. still a blast 2-3 years later

I get that it's technically a "new" game for ps3. But this is typical EA bullshit. The game is a year old. It's selling for $20. You factor in the $20 of DLC and you're at $40. $60 is a kick in the dick, especially considering you will still have to plunk down another $10 to get the next DLC.

And fuck you and the fanboy comments. They are getting old. If anything people like you and Buzz are ME fanboys. If I were a fanboy I would be saying how awesome this game is and how the ps3 is getting the better version with teh bettar grafix and duh bettar contentz! ZOMG!!!

It doesn't affect me either way because I'm not getting the game, but if you think you aren't getting fucked over with this full price game well then I don't know what else to say.

I obviously offended Buzzman as well because it's his favorite game EVAR! I think I need to change my groan policy and start handing them out a little more liberally. LOL at getting groaned for disagreeing with EA's price point. I could understand if I said "Mass Effect is an over rated space opera with a good story and mediocre game play".

For example, look at Borderlands. Amazing game. They released a GotY edition with ALL FOUR of the DLC packs. They waited to release it until the fourth and final DLC was released. Yes it was $60 but it was $40 worth of DLC, not $20. And the price dropped pretty quickly because even at that value consumers weren't willing to pay that price.

EA is just pulling a dick move and it's pretty funny that some of you ME "fanboys" are getting butt hurt over my opinion. They are testing the waters to see how many clowns will plunk down the overpriced cash for it, just like they do with their bullshit booster pack DLC's.

So you want them to release Mass Effect 2 for ps3 in September? Thats when the DLC is supposed to come out. You just praised Borderlands for the $40 in content but then quickly applauded them for dropping the price, which is what will exactly happen with Mass Effect 2 with ps3. I twill drop to $30 a month after release just as it did when it first came out on 360, except this time your getting better graphics and free DLC.

All games are overpriced. Especially sporting titles that get pumped out every year. EA shouldn't get any emotion/reaction for the shady things they do. It's just par for course with those assholes. I doubt I will get it on release, but I will get it eventually.

I whored out to GameStop again...

$105.60 Trade-in for Black Ops, Madden 11 and Fallout: New Vegas (three games I either dislike, stopped playing or are unplayable).

Add in $33 with their Trade-in deal this weekend and another $6.60 from my "Power-Up" card.

The sticking point for the deal was my purchasing a copy of Madden '06 for PS2 to get it up to $105.60... basically, if I didn't do it, I'd only get a little over $80. :facepalm:

$105.60 out of a possible $180 back (minus the tax I also paid at the time).

After which, I fully paid off my copy of Mass Effect 2 and dropped $5 on a Dragon Age 2 pre-order (last day for the Signature Edition DLC Deal)...

Not too shabby.

outdated? my tv only has 1 hdmi slot so i am forced to use component. and they are not outdated...the cables that MS and Sony make are outdated. The HD boxes from cable companies provide components that have separate audio and video. They dont cluster them at the ends forcing you to use your TV speakers for audio.

and your comments about ME2 are just stupid, as usual. PS3 is getting a brand new game, not a year old game. Its only a year own if ps3 owners also own a 360 and got to play it already. Its not like they just ported the 360 version over to the ps3 and slapped a $60 price on it. They used the new ME3 engine and as a bonus included all current DLC for no extra charge. 360 owners didnt get all that DLC for free.

but once again your cheap ass is bitching about getting a brand new game with a brand new engine with all the DLC for $60. Not to mention the fact that 1 play through is 40-50 hours and also has tremendous replay value

Probably could have gotten more for Madden and Black Ops (who knows about New Vegas aside from those who picked up FO3?) through E-Bay, but I got antsy.

Damn DAII DLC deal.

playing through uncharted 2 again and damn is it still an amazing game, it holds up so well. about to play the train part :fap: im playing through on hard this time (fuck crushing) and the only difference ive noticed is that you die a hell of a lot quicker.

4 straight shots (two if they snipe you from way far away for some strange reason) on UC1 on Crushing and you're a goner.

I'm not even out of the temple you go back through with Elena after Sully supoosedly gets killed. :doh:
