LOL. I can't be the only one. I know a ton of people only bought the 360 version because of the expected DLC.

I'm actually more pissed that they released the two episodes on a standalone disc that doesn't require GTA4 to play.

I'm not pissed solely because that overrated game wasn't entertaining enough for me to want to play more of it.

Not that it was bad, but ya know what i'm sayin.

I hear ya. I still loved GTA4. I could've did without all the friend and relationship bullshit though.

I bought GTA IV and played it for about 4 days before selling it. Totally with you KG. That was the most overrated game in recent memory, with CoD:MW2 a close second (for me at least).

Just read that Heavy Rain was dated for Feb 16. Now if only I could scrounge up some semblance of an interest in that game.

They did some really cool things with GTA 4, but when it came down to what's most important about a game (one thing that's usually overlooked nowadays...which would be FUN) I thought Saints Row 2 kicked the shit out of GTA 4 in that deptartment.

The fact that it was co-op alone added so much more entertainment value and I didn't feel tied down to dragging my fat annoying virtual cousin to a lame mini pool game, instead me and a real life person drove a santiation truck around a neighbourhood spraying shit all over houses. Seriously, what sounds like more fun? lol

I only the damn game had trophy support... then again, GTAIV's trophy selection is halved due to no one playing it online anymore.

I may have to look into this non-trophied "fun" game.

I would probably agree about Saints Row. Both SR1 and 2 were crazy fun. Not to mention the shooting mechanic destroys GTA. I have no idea why Rockstar continues to use that antiquated shooting mechanic. I think the Giant Bomb guys said it best when they said that "Rockstar does a lot of shit because their Rockstar and they think they can."

I thought LatD was solid but Gay Tony definitely seemed to take GTA back to it's roots with the over the top awesome missions.

I actually got drunk and passed out playing Dragon Age last night. I still love the game, but I must admit, trying to 100% it is a fucking chore. Not because the achievements are hard, but just because of how many times you have to play through the damn thing.

So I was playing GTAIV online last night with my brother and everything is going well. Then this kid joins and I can here him arguing with someone else in the background about who gets to play the game. For the next 15 minutes, I contemplated calling 911 because it sounded like someone was either getting murdered or raped with all the screaming that was going on. It was hilarious.

No you dont dude playing with someone else can be REALLY frustrating. espcially if you jump at the same time and they use your head a foot stool sending you falling to your death.

I agree. My wife and I beat it in co-op but we were close to divorce by the end of it.

Haha thats the same thing with me and my gf. We are at the end but there were many times were we jumped at the same time and someone got caught underneath and fell to their doom. I mean its still fun but at times frustrating.

After putting in a marathon session on GTA IV, I'm still not that close to winning the damn game.

Met with "Bernie" (what an interesting set of missions) and after finishing my business with him, I dove straight into the Assassin missions given to you after you finish a mission or two for Phil Bell.

Easy money and another way to piss all the money away that I got from the Bank Job mission on rockets after messing up once or twice... even though you get some around the fence.

Really digging Dragon Age. Stopped playing to watch football and the Gonzaga game but I can't wait to turn it back on. Just joined the Gray Somethings (or something like that)

Early Dragon Age stuff:

 

Remember to exploit the backpack glitch at Ostagar BEFORE you start the mission requiring you to light the tower.

If you didn't, you're shit out of luck for two backpacks early on in the game (which is very useful when carrying all that loot you'll find on the ground everywhere)...

Also, make sure to do all the Kocari Wilds missions (ALL OF THEM) before you set off for Lothering or else you can't complete any of them later on... you'll also miss out on some great early armor/weapons.

Now I want to put my disc back in a start another game.
