There have been a lot of weird and wonderful things packed in with limited editions and promised with pre-orders, but Akysy has just upped the ante with the limited edition of Record of Agarest War 2. Along with a hand towel and an art book, you, too, could be a proud owner of a Felenne Doll. An inflatable one at that. I have to wonder what came first, the doll or the hand towel? The official company spiel is as follows:

• Collectible Artbook: Titled “Heroic Trials from the Lands of Agarest”, this artbook is a humdrum addition to the many boring books you’ve read recently. Or so we would like others to think…
Oh, Aksys, you coy devils. Interesting that we get the measurements for the towel, while Felenne’s feminine mystique is upheld. Any location you can feasibly place it, you say? They definitely know what they’re doing. The blurred image above is by their own design. And yes, there’s nothing inherently wrong with a cute little extra like this, but the internet has been around the block, and even some of our parents have seen Lars and the Real Girl.
As for the game itself, well there’s some raunchy tiding there as well. The additional bullet points talk of revamped combat, HD graphics, a new world to explore, and some fun mini-games. Mini-games with Move support. Mini-games called Bathtub, Shiatsu and Massage. All that, and it’s only packing a T rating from the ESRB.
Record of Agarest War 2 is due out at the end of June, and the limited edition is retailing for only $59.99.
