Cap in modern times will be better IMO, I'm not that found of the period stuff. Plus it will give Cap's character a lot more to work with seeing as how he has to catch up with history. He has plenty of evils to fight in modern times, like domestic terrorism. And I'm sure they can make him a covert agent for Shield, seeing as how he works with the American Government.

That's not it at all. The head of Marvel kept fucking around and not being honest with Norton and his agent, so Norton told him to go suck a bag of dicks.
